  • If you click through the frames very slowly at 1.15 and 1.24, bits flying off.

  • What a PRATT !!! Don't blame the air frame. IT is blatant that pilot forgot to insert wing joiner tube. Only got yourself to blame !!!

  • ..err.. thats has to ruin your day just a bit. Putting it lightly, that is.

  • He could have knife-edged that down there. Well, he could at least have had a go, it's gonna be worth trying anything in that situation.

  • thats why i dont have a plane that big. if you crash it, its 1-2k down the drain

  • @jamesb1221222 alot more than that

  • no not really. the equipent inside is the expensive stuff. 1000 bucks for a new airframe and ur good to go again

  • I was thinking about one. Nomore.

  • Same thing happened to a friend of mine. This plane has a weakness. Little bit of flutter starts, then the wing falls apart. Bad design. Hangar 9 knows about the issue. Call them.

  • the wings will typically vibrate out and rotate as soon as the anti-rotation pin leaves the fuse if the wing bolts aren't installed. (ask me how I know)

  • Should've put it into knife edge and brought her down lol Just kidding What a shame. Lot of work and money down the drain. sorry to see that.

  • The wing bolts were intact the aircraft was pre flighted prior the flight this was the result of defective wing panels at the time of flight which i had no knowledge of at that time horizon was contacted and the aircraft was promtly replaced. Note the wing panel will not stay aligned at all during run up for take off with out wing bolt. Conclusion Horizon stood behind there Product.

  • Actually the wings will stay on until in the air with this plane. The carbon fiber alignment pin will hold it in alignment. But I believe you that the wings failed it is a well known fact now that they had problems with the first batch. Horizon and Hangar 9 stood behind their product though and have taken care of the problem resulting in one of the nicest arfs this size money can buy. Have fun with the new plane. I know I am loving mine.

  • Nice to hear that since H9's aren't cheap, especially in this size class. If the wing broke off around the tube, there was no reason for that to happen except for a bad adhesion of the wing tube guide or sheeting job on the bottom of the wing. That must have really hurt!

  • Looks like you forgot to put the wing bolts in to me. Am I right? No matter what happened it sucks though. Sorry for your loss
