This is a great notebook, but in my opinion, it is very overpriced. I was going to buy this, but decided to get the MacBook White. The MacBook is very nice, same features, except for the backlit keyboard. The MacBook Pro is a tad faster, but is only better for hardcore movie editors, photographers, etc; But, for anyone who likes to just look at photos, surf the web, or listen to music, i suggest the MacBook, which is only $999. But my 2 cents would be go mac especially if you are going to be doing video editing, which is pretty much the industry standard for film editing and audio. Mac also has incredible customer service as well as one to one sessions you can purchase along with your computer and software for an extra 99 bucks I think.
