I dunno how many times I've gone through this battle now since I've gone back to this game so many times by now, but every time I get to the part when Ammy gets back on her feet and transforms and this starts playing my eyes get all teary. I don't think I've ever finished this fight with dry eyes. It's just amazing.

I just beat the game a few minutes ago and I'm completely impressed by it. Easily one of my favs, if not THE fav of all games ever. Such a beautiful, artistic game. Endgame was fucking boss. Okami forever! <3

I think that Okami has the most epic (and by epic I mean in the original sense, not the internet sense) boss battle because of the combination of the big lead up, the fact that you nearly die, the uplifting of beloved characters, the faceless villain consisting of raw evil and seemingly endless power, and this music.
