  • Nails to a chalk board - You're butchering names like crazy, it hurts XS

  • Tim! how come that knob Brandon disses you?

  • This scent is indeed subtle, if you go on guerlain website they have a fragrance secret regarding this scent which makes it last all day

  • Very subtle scent. I wasn't smelling it anymore and then got a compliment from my wife on how good I smell. Very high quality.

  • this is much better thhan issey miyake le d issey. lasting power is less though.

  • Hey Tim, great review! Love the mojto accord in this one. Guerlain has a flanker of this called Guerlain Homme L'eau. It would be great to get a review of this! You'd be the first ever to do a video review on it.

  • Shame of you with your Guerlain and his racist comment

  • You're right about the lime being nice to see in fragrances instead of lemon. You should smell it in one of the new ones you just got...Varvatos!

  • I liked this one. The opening for me was citrusy limes and crushed mint leaves with a mild floral accord. Very nice opening. It dries down to a vetiver, but still sustains the lime note. The sillage crept closer to the skin after 3-4 hours. Longevity is great - about 10 hours - but it was very close to the skin. I'm considering buying this fragrance. Oh, and I would really like to see a review on Guerlain L'Instant. Great review Tim! And as always, keep doing what you're doing! 5 starred!

  • L`Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme - created by Béatrice Piquet in 2004

  • Created by Béatrice Piquet in 2004, it features notes of jasmine, citrus, star anise, hibiscus, patchouli, sandalwood, lapsang tea and cacao bean.

It was awarded in france the same year in 2004 for the best mens fragrance.

The first rush of bitter citrus is underscored by spicy fresh leaves and sweet chill of anise.

  • A cured leaf note rises up to create a smoke screen over citrus, softening its bright shimmer. Caramelized undercurrent undulates out of the shiny layers, creating a vision of slowly ossifying petals. A note bridging a gap between a flower and a woody stem lends an appealing indeterminacy to the composition, teasing one into thinking that the accord is about to become more floral and lacy. Instead, a dark rose turns into rosewood embellished by bittersweet smokiness and delicate sweetness.

  • Gentle earthy patchouli laced with musky ambrette seed is completed by citrusy freshness, which pcomplement the rest of the composition well, giving a layer of translucent glow to the bitter caramelized notes. Like a well aged whiskey, LInstant Pour Homme has a beautiful prolonged drydown, containing a trace of the initial exciting burst.

You might like this too, like Chanel Allure Homme

  • Hi Tim

Thanx for replying to my suggestion to review Guerlain Homme.

    It is a awesome fragrance.

    Ace review, yet again!

    Gerard

  • Thanks gerard!

  • Another awesome review! :)

  • Thanks Scott! you coming out with your next review soon?

  • I love that bottle. The only thing is, I worry about them adding an extra $10-15 to what it should actually cost because of it.

  • Just leaving a comment, this fragrance was personally not my type of fragrance. I've tried 3 guerlain (le instant, vetiver, and homme) and I felt the homme was not of the quality i felt in the other 2 fragrances. I particularly liked le instant. Was not fond of the pepperiness of the vetiver and prefer the original vetiver style found in the creed.

  • great review Tim! i tryed it at sephora, love the Lime opening! its REALLY UNIQUE! :D

  • Hey Tim love the reviews but got a quick question. Where do you buy your majority of colognes for your reviews and self???

  • Its pretty expensive here. it costs almost 70 $

  • Hey Tim, have you tried Lalique Encre Noir yet?

  • nope not yet, Lalique fragrances there hard to find samples for! lol

  • lol great review, gotta check it out. Funny cat chillin in the background
