  • Wow, I am pretty shocked at the comment towards what I said, you disagree with the comment I said, but it could be said in a much better way. I am emphasizing my expertise because this is in the area of my profession, I am not just stating my personal opinion. Also I have worked as a social worker in a locked skilled facility and have had clients with this disorder, and currently am working with someone that does, and is suffering. FYI it takes years for a disorder to be put in DSM-IV.

  • Countless youtubers love to inflate themselves and their supposed competence on threads without ever actually managing to produce some SUBSTANTIVE observations of interest. They actually 'think' it suffices to simply go to school and mindlessly ingest the protocols and dogmata transmitted there to be equipped for understanding and helping people. They're completely psychotic, especially since the actual track record in terms of of THERAPEUTIC RESULTS in their 'discipline' is just pathetic.

  • It is interesting to see responses by non-experts in the field. This disorder does exist. It is in the DSM-IV it is very real. As a Licensed Psychotherapist I have come across clients with this disorder, and it is not a funny thing, it is very painful, and at the same time can be helped, but with real intensive work with a specialized therapist, not just any Licensed Psychotherapist, or Marriage & Family Therapist. It you want to be taken seriously try to state opinions about things you know

  • @HypnoMahastee

'It is interesting to see responses by non-experts in the field.' Oh? Why?

'this disorder does exist. It is in the DSM-IV it is very real.' What an incredibly dumb thing to say. Your post merely consists of pointing out your 'expertise', in reality showing blind obedience to authority while contributing NOTHING and evidencing no intellectual competence or any insight in the matter at all. Pfft: 'It is in the DSM-IV'. Just pitiful!

  • my psych prof showed my class another video about personality d/o being fake i just find psych in general interesting

  • u cant remember when ur that old lady come on get real

  • @KinkyCactusFace > how far are you going? I can remember from 2.5 years WITHOUT trauma ... Do a doctorate on the topic...

  • @KinkyCactusFace I agree

  • @KinkyCactusFace I'm 26 and still have memories of being that young. They're really just images though. I don't remember anything that was said or anything.I do actually remember getting beat up by a girl on the airbase playground when I was 3

  • *part of a program aimed at her

  • this is all so fucking crazy. just mind blowing.

  • Sounds to me like she could still be in denial when she states her alters were created after witnessing some brutal freak deaths at a young age. These deaths concerned OTHERS not herself, even if the spectacle must have been dreadful.

It is far more likely that she herself was abused and that she actually hasn't recovered the memories.

  • @suddenlyitsobvious > thanks, interesting insight ... No way I can tell if correct or incorrect, but definitely true ... Sounds like a contradiction, but I do think you have a valid point here ... Cheers, Runi

  • @suddenlyitsobvious check out ritual abuse survivors- you ll se that they train kids to dissociate by forcing them to watch other kids being tortured /murdered- army psychologists teachers all know this/and use it

  • @lmollot

Yes, I'm aware of that but it doesn't invalidate my observation since the deaths she observed were not of that order according to her, meaning they were not part of a programmed aimed at HER, she was merely a witness to some freak deaths which is hardly likely to account for her predicament, wherefore it would indeed seem she's in denial about the ACTUAL CAUSE of her (former?) multiplicity.

  • @lmollot

'army psychologists teachers all know this/and use it'

Perhaps I should add that I don't agree with this statement. It's a relatively occult practice.

  • Comment removed

  • amnesia is dissociation- time "lost" (forgot the memories during that time=- thats how it works- shut out the trauma or stress to survive

  • just got back from my collage taster day, purely because of this case i want to go into psychology!

  • as somone who suffers from this, she has balls, we would never admit to people that theres more than just one of us in this corpse in person.... it drives us insane keeping it in sometimes,we've been "diagnosed" with schitzo-effective and DID however.... we can sort of remember what goes on when we switch, but thats because we communicate all the time...good for her, maybe one day I'll stop being a coward....

  • @kadeemtheking > the body is not a corpse as long as we inhabit it ... no matter how many personalities -- please keep this always in mind.. No worries, no offence intended...

  • @RuniScience bah, thats a load of bullshit, this is body is nothing more than a corpse waiting to fall over, honestly I'd rather it hurry up and stop fuckin beating... this world is full of people who just won't get it.... can't grasp it, the kid can't even tell his fucking room mate about us... and she suffers from god damn anxiety, its like we're livin our whole life in secrecy due to his inability to "cope with society".... no offense taken... but a walking talking corpse is still a corpse

  • @kadeemtheking > Well, I told you my view ... you told me yours ... Funny, as we both suffer from Schizo-affective-disorder, yet each of us has found a different perspective to deal with it ... I personally will stick to my views... Thanks for sharing though, Runi

  • @RuniScience aye! I wish all of us special people could get together, my psychiatrist doesn't think I'll be able to co-exist in society in one place for to long :( but what does she know... apparently we're the first she's ever seen of people like us.... and I'm sorry about what I said earlier, which brings me to a question, do your "alters" get more active when discussing this topic :p and what I said earlier wasn't to be taken seriously some of us are just Sooooooooooo pessimistic ya know?!

  • @RuniScience Like I said, I guess we accidentally closed this, thats not everyones oppinion, like for example I look at it as our bodies a temple filled with just more than one soul :p.like I do totally wish that well, we all got along.oh and does this topic like completely result in you guys switching more, it does for us! its fine as long as nobodys near us, but yeah I'd tell you who wrote that statement but it like totally wouldn't matter, however; he has Nooooooooo fashion sense.

  • @RuniScience Oh one more question!! how do you get along with your alters!?!?! and how do you let people know about everyone inside so that you can totally be yourself?! its so hard ya know!.... and I think that my room mates totally starting to catch on and fear me. well not me but us. for instance you have grumpy mean Donovan who I feel just needs a big ol' hug. then you've got me Juliano and well, I don't feel right or comfortable at all talking about this in a public forum so message us.!

  • that is so true what she said parents/adults rather say "well, the child is the only one who was not effective by this but we will remember it"

    but yes, children are affected.

  • DETECTIVE BUTTERS IS ON THE CASE!!!

  • @supahfly55 > Well "Detective Butter" please give us a summary of your results so far... Got any new insights??

  • She's got some weird gene sequences...I bet you that her DNA got mutated to have the mind like that.

  • @killerboyfoolz > you talk about gene sequence like you dreamt the stuff... pls give me a synopsis of your thoughts...

  • @RuniScience Well, if you stress your mind enough, your cell can read a whole new sequence from your chromatins. Each sequence represent different expressions. (Only 14~20% of our DNA are express). I believe that do to chromatin turning from hetero to eura (Or the other way), our body can read a completely different expression. It's like "off and on" switch. -Synopsis of my idea (My made up hypothesis)

  • @RuniScience - but war veterans are allowed to have amnesia (dissociation)- but no other trauma victims?

  • What a beautifully lady inside and out and brave to do this interview. I believe everything she said as I experience so much of what she experienced with my friend who is mpd. It takes alot of courage to come and tell your storey because most people do to lack of knowledge don't believe it. Bless you.

  • Its crazy what our brains can do

  • this is mind-blowing
