This movie sucked. I hate these movies where they tease you through the whole movie making you think your going to see some good lesbian action and then they don't show squat except for one makeout scene and a 2 second lip kiss that wasn't all that great. Even the story was weird. And the ending didn't make any sense. If your just looking to get a jizz fix don't bother with this one.

the ending of this story is so sad. I didn't feel like there was a purpose to it all. Sarah Waters normally has happy endings.

Finished reading Affinity recently, and I honestly don't want to the watch the show, cause I just couldn't stand Affinity's ending. Poor Margaret! Much preffered Fingersmith.

I just had to favorite this though, cause this video is perfect for Margaret's role. You really captured it.

I just finished the book like 5 minutes ago! Great video. At first I thought the music didn't fit but the lyrics soooo appropriate! I just feel really bad for Margaret. She got her heart ripped out and stomped on! Twice! :P (sigh) Sarah Waters is just such a great writer!

I really disliked this book .. Fingersmith was amazing and then I read affinity and was really dissapointed.. Fingersmith and the night watch remain the best. Tipping the velvet is a a bit :O

The film of Affinity is good, but doesn't capture Selina and Margaret the way the book does. This music video brings that out more than the actual film I think.

the movie was shown on the logo channel a while ago over here in new york i liked the movie it just made me really sad and angry to see margeret's heart continuously being broken, first by her girlfriend who went and mareied her brother, then by selina who completely used her to break out of jail and run off with her other girlfriend but anyway good job on the vid

just about to start readin this book, just finished 'Tipping the Velvet' (which was much better than the tv adaptation) and 'Fingersmith' (which I was quite glad to see that they followed the book quite well).

Yes, I have to say that it's really hard to adapt the novels by Sarah Waters, because they are very well written. And I know the other ones, too. But the adaptation of "Affinity" really managed to capture the essence of the story I think and that's why it's also worth watching the movie, right.
