They are still one of the largest groups of immigrants coming in, and many people aren't terribly happy because they feel they 'steal' jobs because they have lower salary expectations. People are very quick to sound the racism alarm when comments like this are made, but I think that demonstrates a lack of compassion for people who are affected by this the most. Not to mention how much constructive debate is stifled simply because people are afraid of sounding racist.
