  • good job

  • now this is REAL playing... Impressive guys... thanks

  • HEY YO... THIS IS NOT A DRUM SET...... U CAN TAKE ANOTHER RYTHMS!!!!

  • Is that a Breed Love guitar? Those are the best. I think I have that same guitar. =]

  • What chords are you playing?

  • Good playing!

    Sounds really good.

  • what cajon are you using?

  • Great sound!

  • coOl !! verry good dude!!

  • Nicely done! I've heard and played the cajon with just about everything. When you mic it from the back hole, it plays as loud as you need it to. :-) And, you get much more bass that way.

  • Breedlove guitar :D Great jam by the way.

  • sounds good boyz

  • @beabow64 Thanks man! :)

  • u can buils one, just find the link

    really its very easy

  • waaah, you're excellent ! both ! I'd like to play guitar and cajon like you ! awesome !

  • Haha why are you sitting so close to each other!!

But good job, I like it! Love the sound of the Cajon

  • could've done the same. i know i will get thumbs down now, but i play the two of them and compose and this is not that hard. would've liked some 32nds by the cajon in there, but all in all it's not too bad.

  • this is brilliant :D

  • What model is that Cajon? Sounds perfect to what I'm looking for.

  • looks homebuilt to me, no brand markings i can see; theyre actually not that hard to build if you know basic carpentry and can measure properly; just read up on it for proper dimension, snare types and what types of wood will give what effect.

  • Good stuff guys

  • I think the cajon is a little bit to loud in th end...

  • Drummer, you are dragging practice with a metronome to improve your time.

  • muy bien, me gustó mucho el video

  • nice work guys

  • Nice! =D the cajon is an amazing instrument.

  • Love it!

  • you guys sound sick. look up trevor hall he plays acoustic guitar and his drummer is on 2 different cajons u guys would really like him

  • nice work guys :)

  • What model Cajon is that? Has a good snare sound>

  • i`like to much, god very god, i send regards from cancun mexico.

  • hey your cajon sounds bad

it should have a bit more bass so it sounds better. suggest you tense up the strings until you put more bass into it

  • Nice! Good work.

  • Perfect! The cajon is one of my top three precussion instruments to add to my music sounds, besides a djembe, and a talking drum.

  • well done guys!

  • Yeahh !!!

    YOU ROCK

    good job

  • nice job lads. keep it up!

    Best wishes from Dublin, Ireland

  • cool. you guys look quite young, keep practicing, it all sounds really nice...

  • nice job it sounds amazing

    greets from the netherlands

  • this is great this is exactly the reason i want a cajon great music keep it up

  • sounds great guys.

If you don't mind me asking, what chords did you use for this?

  • thanks man...

haha i have no clue what he's using. i think its the same chords for the song open the eyes in my heart Lord, just a diff. strum pattern. I dont really play acoustic guitar so idk. And he's not here anymore.

  • this is great.

  • tighten ur Cajon bro that sounds awful! but good playing tho....keep at it guys

  • Haha yeah i know...

I usually tighten it before every play...

But this was kinda just random so I didn't... LoL

    But thanks man

  • this is badass man

  • You gents sound pretty good. you make it a lot of fun. I have a meinl, it sounds good. I payed about 75.00 for it. I had one of their more expensive models and ended up taking it back as the joints inside were not tightly fited and it made it sound bad.

  • I want a cajon... How much?

  • Uh, this one was about 500 dollars, but ucan get a crappy one for about around 100-200

  • Вот те на - из тумбочки такое забабахать! Молодца!

  • хахахаха :) это не тумбочка, это кахон

  • Really awesome guys... worst part is that I'd never be able to jam with me on both guitar and cajon togetherr

  • sounds really sick, do u mind telling me what chords ur using? they sound sick

  • u r damn hot

  • awesome you guys! keep it up!

  • Which brand and model is that Cajon? It's the best I've heard yet!

  • Comment removed

  • awesome!!!

  • are u guys playing "Lord you are good?"

  • This is excellent guys! Keep playing and post more videos. I'm linking to this from my Facebook.

  • Fresh!!

  • Primero aprendan musica chamacos.

  • It's really nice.

    But please tell me,

i'm a drummer. but I'm considering buying a cajon, so I can play acoustic settings with my band. Do you think cajon is a solution for a drummer when wanna play acoustic?

  • YES! most definately,EASY transport ;)

  • I'm a drummer as well. I used to make cajons, and now work in the drum dept of Guitar Center. There is so much that you can do with the cajon (and other little percussion instruments) that make it perfect for acoustic settings. Everyone from Santana to Justin Timberlake are starting to use them for recording now.

  • Good rhythm, good posture also, not bad at all by these guys. And as far as cajon filling in the job of a kit, forget it. A cajon in not a drumset. You essentially have two sounds. Do this at home, take away all your cymbals and toms, and stay with the snare and bass drum only and see what you can come up with, that's pretty much all you have on cajon. But it is really neat on its own as a percussion instrument with its own inherent sounds.

  • It's purpose isn't to fill the entire space of what is possible by a trap kit, but can do the same basic sounds as a very small kit; and, you can do quite a bit on a small kit (with only a snare and bass drum, or even a single snare or bass drum!) if you have any sort of competency whatsoever. Watch jazz drummers and you'll likely get the idea.

  • Yeah, Better acoustics in small settings. and better for the atmosphere in acoustic performances in my opinion, I want to get one too, and I am primarily a vocalist/guitarist.

  • yeah... great for busking and stuff.

Does have a 'small kit' sound, which is sometimes what you want anyway rather than a full rock kit obliterating everything. Some people bring a high hat or something.

Another thing i've seen work well with cajon is shakey eggs in the shoes! can give a bit of the ts ts ts ts sound of high hat or something.

I'm in a folk(ish) band and we use a kit for some gigs and cajon for the more compact 'unplugged' style ones.

  • ooh, awesome man. I made a cajon, and I like it. but yeah, I am the only serious musician I know, haha, so no band, I'm on my own.

  • FUCC YES.

    they're awesome for that! :)

  • @ReDeMpTioN35 Posted a year ago, so it's probably not worth replying. However cajon is brilliant for an acoustic sound. I play in a duo with one and it's perfect.

  • @DrumGirl1991 oh hell jeah, you have to learn cajon, its just amazing. i<3 the cajon, its a must have for every drummer(:

  • @DrumGirl1991

I have to agree. I'm using one for unplugged gigs with my band, and they work VERY well for that.

  • @DrumGirl1991 absolutely. I got one yesterday and had never played one before. They're a lot of fun and easy to get into

  • @DrumGirl1991

This why they are made for XD add a crush cymbal to that and mm perfect

  • yes... this song need to have lirycs :)

  • Cajon player is good, guitar player not :)

  • some nice cajon playin there. this song would sound awesome-er with lyrics :P

  • np soo cool

  • ur bro is hot

  • haha well thanks

  • AAAhhh SHIT !!where getten creative now! I'm immpressed! Good job.
