He definitely didn't go overboard crazy/angry. She was completely confident and straight-faced and not sad and he was crying and an emotional wreck. And she's been keeping his son from him for 8 months. Maybe they're both putting on a show, but that's not very likely given the circumstances.
I was abused for a short time and thankfully survived and got out of it. I have to say that she does not bear any mannerisms or fearful attitudes that an abused woman normally does. I believe she is lying. She also looks extremely vindictive and smug. Women can read women, and she is a liar.
This man is lying through his back teeth. Words don't matter ~ body language does. He can't maintain eye contact but the real dead giveaway is he keeps covering his mouth. This is unconscious thing that lyers do. Her body language and eye contact indicates that she is being truthful. But to be fair to him, she certainly has an axe to grind and she needs to see that he may hate her but he clearly loves his son and should be a part of his life...

I think the man is being truthful here, because he's always got a straightforward, quick answer with no hesitation, is showing some pained emotions that aren't sloppy and melodramatic enough for me to consider being faked. The woman, on the other hand, sits with indifference and smug assurance as she accuses him and pretends he's lying.
Also, Dr. Phil needs to keep that obnoxious lawyer off of his show. That woman seems to have a serious grudge against men...every time that she's on the show, she seems to defend woman who are blatantly lying or wrong, while explaining to them how to screw over men who are trying to see their child, defend themselves, etc. She's nothing more than a media-whore!
I had an ex that tried to kill me. Even in court, with at least a dozen armed officers and a multiple rows of seats between us, I was scarred to be in the same room as him. She doesn't look scarred in the least, during the majority of this. I find it very hard to believe that she's so terrified of this guy, that she has to have a restraining order, keep him from his kid, and all of this other bs.
