I wish I could have seen a video like this when I was in high school. I was attending a very conservative Baptist high school where I would have been expelled, but it would have helped me come out so much sooner after graduation. As it was it took me almost 4 years after graduation to finally admit it to anyone. Since then I am now out to everyone, and love being me so much.

Wow, Daveys coming out story sounds a lot like mine, my mum thought I was on drugs, went through everything asking me in the car, then she got to the last question, paused, asked me if I was gay and I just burst out, she didn't really accept it for 2 months but we're fine now ^_^ Dad is still struggling a bit...

And I share almost the same story as Davey. Mom, just don't tell dad. Well she did and the following day I was sitiing on the sofa in the living room, my dad walked over to me, kissed me on the head and walked away. Thats how I knew my mom told my dad and it was his way of telling me that I was accepted in his life and that he still loves me.

I wish I could have seen a video like this when I was in high school. I was attending a very conservative Baptist high school where I would have been expelled, but it would have helped me come out so much sooner after graduation. As it was it took me almost 4 years after graduation to finally admit it to anyone. Since then I am now out to everyone, and love being me so much.

Don't know how I missed watching this when it first came out. Great stories and project. I don't think I've heard of a story like Matt's w a parent taking back their initial acceptance but it makes perfect sense. It shows how scared his mom was for him I think.
