I own the full size Super Cub, and the plane is the perfect plane for beginners, but one should do a lot of flying on a flight simulator first. At least 30 hours.
2 things: 1, you put the elastic bands on wrong, and 2, if you read the manual first before you fly, you will see that a.c.t takes control of everything including throttle but i suggest you don't use a.c.t because if you take off too fast or to steep the a.c.t will override the system and turn the motor of (causing you to crash) a.c.t doesn't work very well
Take it back. The store will give you a replacement, unless it's been flown anyway. X-mitters for these are cheap on ebay. Look under "Hobb-e-mart" for deals on fixer-uppers, that come with spare stuff usually.
i agree with you i was in 30 mph winds. the only struggle is getting it off the ground and then once your about 100 ft off the ground, i shut the motor off.
They both fly about the same. The mini is a little faster if you trim it up for speed. I like them both. No complaints with either one. The Parkzone J3 LP is alot of fun too.
does that act have control of all the control surfaces and motor speed in the event of a bad attitude? thatd be kool i cant afford a simulator- i just want to fly - i have an aeroace bipe but its so light, its fun, but not a lot of challenge
yea this is a good upgrade from the aero ace. having little flying experiance with rc planes i got one and flew it nicely. act can come in handy for the first few flights but then its best left off. its a great plane. fun to glide... i ordered a micro video camera so in the next 2 weeks ill be posting aerial flight vids. cheers
@pudd750 There is a simulator that only costs 30 bucks out the door: E-Sky. It would be more affordable in the long run before you go and buy an airplane and crash it and your money's gone.
@tenrazo215 you do realize that super cubs are tottaly made out of cheap replacable parts, i fly one and it only costas like 5 dollars each time i crash
@rcplaneguy1 k thanks

depends on how much you want to pay the mini has plenty power but not great in winds 10mph or above.
rcplaneguy1 3 years ago
I had no problem in 20+ MPH winds today. It was actually alot of fun "Sky surfing" with this little guy.

@TheCoolkid127 I was answering pudd750, when he said he couldn't afford a simulator.

Great video. I do not like the ACT turned on, as it doenst save you in most cases. Best to fly it with it off, in my opinion.
