  • el mejor grupo del siglo XX

  • Does anybody remember laughter?

  • Man, I think I'll throw on the old vinyl and hear it how it was. What an awful sound.

  • Porque? Porque cada um dos Led Zeppelin não são imortais?

  • my dad's fave band..

  • Even though it's obvious that Plant had trouble singing, I didn't let it even bother because this he's already set forth an eternal legacy as a singer and as a beautiful guy. Love him. Same for Page. I honestly cannot believe they're still alive? Actually, it's surprising they didn't die 20 years ago, and they're still going. It's amazing how such a wonderful thing has endured. Newton said "for every reaction, there is an equal and opposite reaction." Perhaps this applies to metaphysics, too?

  • Page the Mage.

  • People muttering how page did this robert did that they sound fucking fantastic for there age shut the fuck up and enjoy the music we are lucky to see this.

  • They still got it!

  • You would of thought bonhams son would have got the drum intro right, wouldn't you??

  • @ledzeplad There's a whole slew of drummers just on youtube who drum Zeppelin's tunes more faithfully and proficiently than Jason does.

  • @panchobehrmann I absolutely agree, i do hope jason has fulfilled his childhood dream of drumming with LZ but i don't think he would be in a re-union to go on tour with. As a matter of fact your quite correct , there are many drummers on youtube that sound and play with that same feel as Mr Bonham senior did.

  • tuned down for Percy

  • What it really comes down to is this. I don't care about your video or the sound of it. I watched it to observe how Plant and Page would pull it off. Not because of what you did. Sonically though not the worst it is just another crappy sounding piece of You Tube audio. Considering the sources it probably was a fun game for you. I apologies for my use of the word bullshit. I had no idea that you had not the ability to technically describe your efforts.

  • Oh and really nice video edits. Wait I already said that. I guess since you're so bad ass complements are below you.

  • Well here's to your bullshit. You had me thinking you were playing 25 tracks at once. Not 25 pieces of information sequenced together favoring a couple of those recordings. You call it 25 tracks. Play all 25 pieces of music at the same place in time of the song and it will sound like shit. Therefore my bullshit is correct and your full of it.

  • ...the "best sound" sounds more like caviar in my ears..

  • In signal processing, a comb filter adds a delayed version of a signal to itself, causing constructive and destructive interference. The frequency response of a comb filter consists of a series of regularly spaced spikes, giving the appearance of a comb.

  • Comment removed

  • Okay this is interesting really cool with all of the nice edits. GOOD JOB! The audio has me wondering. I have well trained ears of many years of listening and mixing. It sounds like the same track until 8:43 then there's a change. I know as a fact that if you introduce multiple sources of audio from different distances you will get all kind of time fazes and comb filtering. Therefore I must say with the most respect because of the good video your claim of 25 audio channels is BULLSHIT!! Sorry.

  • I don't know what age you are but it seems your ears are not what they used to be. There is no lie in the description. With a good DAW you can sync all the tracks to perfection, which i did. That there is a sound difference, of course. Most of the telephones recorded only a couple of minutes, even less, and yes i did favor a couple of tracks because the soundquality was better. The only BULSHITT on this page is your remark.

  • @BigWill57 Thank you so much for taking time out to put this together it's a joy to watch and an even bigger one to listen to. That said you will always get some smart ass prick whom bleats on about how wrong it is and of course there will always be the prick who tries to look for faults telling you they can do it better. Well fuck them I don't see there work here. So thanks again well done and ignore these fuckers who tell you otherwise.

  • @TheJimbarnes

Look dude! I know the guy who did this. He is authentic so stop embarrassing yourself with that useless crap!

  • @TheJimbarnes dude shitted on you hes right

  • @TheJimbarnes I am agree with you, I am not trained as a proffesional, bu thave very good musical ears and hearing: It is on this video SHIT!!! TERRIBEL SOUND! How can anywone like this????? Again: TERRIBEL SOUND! I know it much better in the old days!!!

  • alguien sabe porque no existe el DVD original del concierto? lo busco por todos lados!! es que acaso ese unico concierto no fue grabado?? seria inconcebible!!

  • is that John Bonham;s son on drums?

  • Love this song! Once again it brings back memories from high school.

  • While we're being frank, let's just admit how pathetic and actually tragic it is to see this poor fellow's vain attempts to recapture what once was. "Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for they also spoke well of the FALSE prophets."

A mathematical equation. God is not mocked. These fools were at the top of the world a very short time ago and now they are sad old men. They sold their souls for a slice of bread. Let that be a lesson to you. Or go on believing the lie. Make your own bed.

  • @tardwhisperer

    apt name.

  • @kopilit--Yes indeed. And how its true meaning could be lost on your superior intellect is beyond my comprehension. I am the whisperer of tards. What does that make you for noticing my comment?

  • @tardwhisperer

    You're a mental.

  • @kopilit--ist.

  • @tardwhisperer -----Both Led Zeppelin & Stairway To Heaven have marked their places at the music history.

They're really high ones. That's why people really still love them and watch them whether they rock or not, as they could in the past. It's only about music.

  • @MegaMGss--You people are so intelligent yet you are wholly incapable of recognizing what is going on around you? The FACT is that the British Invasion and the hippie movement's sole purpose was to create an entire generation of wimpy faggots, playing their guitars in their bedrooms, telling themselves they're heroes instead of growing strong and arming themselves for the coming harvest. Locusts with scorpion tails, striking you in your souls, rendering you backboneless. Too much truth at once.

  • almost 40 years since this song was written. We're all still listening to it, searching for our stairway

  • goddamn amazing

  • I asked my parents if I could fly to london to see this concert. They said no =(

  • Well done!! actually....Absolutely Brilliant!!!!! Cheers :)

  • hard to believe we have ALL grown so much older-looking back on earlier videos of lz really brings it all back

  • Is this Robert singing? It sounds so different

  • @tudorhistoryguy His voice has obviously changed, it's been almost 40 years!

  • God, I will never forget the first time I saw them play in Dallas in 1973, it was so frekin awesome. They played from 8 till almost 1:30am with NO break, Bonzo did his solo. The lazors, the whole show was pure magic. I have grown up and have grown old with these guys, and I love them till my death, and their music will be played at my funeral! It wasn't just a concert, it was an interaction between them and the audiance. Miss ya Bonzo, glad we stll have Robert to keep singing with that voice!

  • LED ZEPPELIN IS THE MAGIC >> GREATEST BAND , GREATEST SONG , GREATEST SOLO EVER ......

  • That drummer is the luckiest guy on earth

  • @rommelink Well, he WAS the original drummer's son, so he obviously deserves it :P

  • who's the drummer?

  • @SDsailor7 the son of john bonham

  • Boring is with 1 r.

  • BEST BORRING SOUND

  • CAN'T THOSE PEOPLE SHUT THE FUCK UP DUDE OMG.

  • Where is the "best sound"? Respect for the legendary band please!

  • guess what else? I once shared a joint with Robert back in the 70's. :-)

  • wow I miss this band! They were the best I've ever heard/seen!

If the earth lasts a billion more years, Led Zeppelin's music will also be here!

  • talk about gettin' the chills..

  • Wonder why they never officially released this performance on DVD? Who wants to bet that wouldn't be the best selling Live DVD ever?

  • @shaindaman13 I don't know how they fell again on that. Page regretted that there wasn't more documentation of the band's live performances.

They must have saved footage and they must have recorded it. It's possibly the last ever Stairway performed...

Damnit, I wish they had been more prone to recording themselves on concerts. Look at Deep Purple, they didnt "believe in live albums" and bam, they have about 34. (ok, all the line ups) But I wish page recorded every big tour (71, 72, 75, 77, 80)

  • I really like how they played this in a lower key to accommodate Plant's more mellow "21st century" vocal range.

  • YEAH! XD

  • Comment removed

  • As epic as 30 years back

  • i would give my dick , just to go back in time and watch this with bonzo

  • Why they didn't filmed this concert on DVD?!

  • @Jukka1995 They did film it for a potential DVD release! Plant, Page and Jones are going to review it, and if they are happy with every aspect of the performance then it will be released.

  • @1987BigStu If they release this gig on DVD I woud be so thankful

  • love the audio quality. thanks for sharing!

  • @paulkyrby

my pleasure! It were more than 25 audiochannels from telephones mixed to 2 stereochannels. I was really surprised that this quality came out.

  • @BigWill57 very nice....Jason does a great job filling in for dad...RIP....and yes very good mix...this was much better than Led Zep at Live Aid!

  • They're just flagship of rock.

  • haha...it's definitely Page....he blows the first note of the solo in true Page form.

  • This time,They play this song for Ahmet

Other,Plant very bore to sing this

  • fuck that cunt saying get off its not led zeppelin.. screw that mother fucker i would have killed to have his ticket i fucking hate him. who gives a shit if its not the original members.. sure its not the same,, but fuck sake you cant get better than these ten mins these days. so the the cunt,, shush. the gods are playing.

  • i wish they would dvd this its the last time

  • who's on the drums?

  • @Theshinninglamb Jason Bonham, John Bonham's son.

  • want to know what is more amazing??

see that the last time we saw jimmy page he was on stage with black hair and now in 2006 with white hair. :)

  • on your knees ye of little faith pay homage to the king and beg forgiveness or forever be dammes hail jimmy did he tame that two headed dragon or what

  • This song achieves exactly what Jimmy Page always wanted out of Zeppelin. Light and Shade at its purist. Nothing more to say other than unreal.

  • The best Zeppelin cover band ever!

  • @ronpaul2008rocks I wouldn't exactly call it a cover band...

  • Os efeitos do telao sao iguais ao do DVD "The Song Remains the Same"

  • Como os velhos tempos =)

  • led zeppelin were good song-writers, but the solos weren't great.

  • @AdrianMutu87 wat

  • @AdrianMutu87 Goodbye

  • @AdrianMutu87 haha, are you deaf?!....... They are epic solo's............. most songs they wrote have very good solo#s, i really have no idea what you are talking about, please tell me these not so great solo's.

  • @AdrianMutu87 What are you talking about?!

  • @AdrianMutu87 And what planet did you say you were from??? The solos are always Awesome. Jimmy never

played the same solo twice. That takes extreme talent......

  • @AdrianMutu87 dumbass. page blows your ass away on the guitar.

  • @roejogan8 too bad you can't read. i didn't say i was better

  • @AdrianMutu87 too bad you're deaf and don't realise that jimmy is one of the greatest lead guitar players ever.

  • @roejogan8 jimmypage is like a guy soloing in his garage. it is not that hard. listen to tony iommi for some real rock solos

  • @AdrianMutu87 black sabbath is awesome. yeah, a guy soloing in his garage that writes some of the most memorable and enduring music in rock. if it's not that hard why don't you post a video of you doing better? page is a genius on the guitar.

  • @AdrianMutu87 Blow it out your ass.

  • @AdrianMutu87 xaxaxaxaxa GTFO. Page is like billions light years ahead of tony...tony is good but come on he never did write something like this...he is not capable to.

  • @AdrianMutu87 plus most of sabbath songs are better the way randy roads played them...at least the ones he forestalled to play

  • Is Jason playing drums in this?

  • @Legionbass19 yeh his son is playing

  • its kind of scary to think that this could possibly be the last time this song is played live

  • @tuffguy333 You mean the last time its played live by the original band members. Its played all the time live by other bands. Some get it right. Some don't.

  • Great Vocals. Honey Dripping in a low-key work out equally well!

Jason has done an incredible job as well, not easy tempo variations

  • He thinks this is a song of hope

  • they sound better than the previus time everytime they play. Led Zeppelin Forever

  • EPICNESSS !!! no words for Jimmy Page.......en Plant's voice

  • i hope they release a dvd and a cd of it

  • I've been listening to this song for over than 35 years. But, as life seems too short, wish meet you jimmy and robert in heaven

  • As Life is too short, meet you in heaven jimmy and robert

  • OMG EPIC!!

  • is jimmy using an orange here

  • @YourNameHere136 He's been using Orange amps for a long, long time now.

  • @YourNameHere136 marshall all the way, he only used an orange for theremin and violin bow sections.

  • If God Exist, is this.... I can´t believe how this song and this band make me cry, make me feel a strange sensation, how can explain, that´s imposible, THANKS Guys for create this: LED ZEPPELIN. From Argentina

  • HOW COULD ANYBODY DISLIKE THIS VIDEO.

  • 8:45 "Hey, Ahmet... We did it!".

  • if only guns n roses would do the same :( a few reunion dates.

  • @JacksCovers that would be perfect but "Guns N' Roses" is still technically a band so they prob wont reunite...):

  • @Stagaz630 Axl and friends ;)

  • @JacksCovers hahaha yea i wish

    except they arent friends

  • @JacksCovers The REal GNR

  • Led Zeppelin and perhaps Fleetwood Mac to a lesser extent, understood the importance of mysticism in music. Sadly missing from generations of music since...

  • ahhh AAAaHHH aaahhHHH aaHhaa!!!!

  • to the guy that says jimmy dosnt sound the same.it probably the dynamics here man they arnt the same band and no one not even his son can replace John on the drums.to many rifts in the band. Here him play at wembly with the foos and it is rad!!!

  • @Raisnghavoc good luck with stairway. I read a biography on Jimmy and it said that he doesn't let any singer other than robert plant sing stairway because plant is the only one that can do it justice.

  • @jimihendrixtribute I read a similar interview that said he also has never tried to play the solo the exact same way again because that one he did on the cd was perfect and hed never do it again, so its the same thing in a way . . . Which is pretty much why Jimmy is the fuckin man!

  • Thanks!

  • page sounds so shit to how he played in the 70s, its sad but i cant bare to listen to him anymore, its not the same.

  • @thehomefront dont say nothing just listen their legends we cant say shit

  • The gods have spoken... & it is good.

  • i am crying.

  • Simply the best song of all times

  • Plant should be waterboarded until he agrees to tour. Waters and Gilmore should be at guantonimo along with him and subject to similar persuasion.

  • EPIC!!!! You will never see this again...

  • @amozartii Trust me you will, it could be twenty years, but Jimmy page said that he promises it wont be the last of zeppelin...

  • @amozartii :'(

    They are just Genius.

  • @amozartii If we are lucky enough

We will see them come back again with Jason

  • @amozartii I SO hope you are wrong

  • plants vocals after the solo are indeed nothing short of godly.

  • Fucking epic

  • damn! after the guitar solo by page plant sounds like 35 years ago. love it

  • yeah he musta goten motavated my it i thought so too

  • he, horny Big Will, let's play again, together, no Walkman

  • Jimmy Page looks so bad ass with that gray hair. He looks like a fucking warlock or something. Hey, I think he always wanted to be one!

  • does anybody remember laughter? :)

  • @gtp5 i remember laugther :D

  • This i just so Awesome

  • at least page got himself away from the drugs after 1977 he sucked untill he stoped teh drugs but this kicked ass!!!!!

  • its crap thats robert has lost his higher pitch...u cant blame him caz the blokes getting older and older.....zeppelin will never be the same as they were but stil it was agreat peformance!

  • i totally disagree Plant is much different singer now days but its still awesome in a different way. its now smooky and deep

  • You know it is funny This is Rober Plants Least Favorite Song they ever did.

He once said in an interview that at one point he refused to perform this song on stage because he hated it so much.

  • I don't blame him, I can't stand the song. They wrote at least a dozen better ones.

  • i REALLY think they are gods disguised in human bodies.... JUST LISTEN TO THIS!!

  • You're a tad bit overboard. They did this song a little better in '75. Listen to some recordings.

  • well.. because the fact is : it was the last time that they where playing stairway live , and only this make me cry and its enuff to make me say that its the best version ever , its a rly awesome moment and i dont think this could be played better. my english is bad sorry

  • amazing, just gotta tweak ur ear down for a split sec to get used to the fact tht its in G instead of A, but hey no complaints!

these guys are gods, enough said!

  • ...to heaven.

    this makes me wonder....

    this song is the best....

  • Woolstones - With all due respect, the version on SRTS was in 1973, Page was 29, Plant was 25, now they are 65, and 61 respectively. For O2, they had to tune the instruments down a whole step such that Plant didn't have to strain himself to hit those high notes. They did a hell of a job considering their age. The original performance was youthful oriented...one moment in time that even the original artists can never repeat again, which is what makes Zeppelin's music so extraordinary...

  • led zeppelin r real legends!

    LEGENDS FOREVER!!

  • im so disappointed that jimmy didnt play his version he played in 70s , the solo was more hardcore, the verses were much more forceful, and had just alot more soul :( this is bitching, dont get me wrong.. but not the same :(

  • well as time goes on things slow down, get a little droopy, etc.

  • Gods of rock.

  • hellll ya they r

  • rap and hip hop I don't mind as much, because it makes me laugh how bad it is. But the emo stuff I hate even more, My Chemical Romance and rap metal like Limp Bizkit I dislike the most. I don't think there's anything I dislike more than Green Day, though.

  • Wow...you're at the wrong place then.......lol

  • they say hell is where u go if your bad this song reminds u that we are already in hell but we can all get to heaven after we go through this hellish lifetime

  • sounds like someone is kinda depressed

  • lol a little

  • I love how during the solo they put him double or whatever on the screen like they did for The Song Remains The Same.

  • i really like that the song is being played a full step down...it has that mystical vibe about it...these guys really knew how to play i mean look at there music they are still consided the best and thats 35 years running...its amazing..to see it now

  • it really is amazing that they are the best and i beleive that they will always be the best no matter what new music comes along. its a shame music is goin down the shitter with all this emo shit and rap and country. older country was good but now a days country blows. there music will never die and will never be beatin the soul music will go on

  • R.I.P. Bonzo

  • Comment removed

  • This performance basically made history, and this video reflects that. In addition to the band's good and updated interpretation of the song (especially Jason Bonham's cymbal work right before the drums usually come in), it's interesting to see them play so well given that they're what, 60-something now?

Think about this: The last time this song was played with most of the band, there were no cell-phone cameras, etc. It really illustrates the "timeless" label that this song gets, doesn't it?

  • it was actually hi hat, not cymbal that he did before he came in.
