i can remember playing outside all day in the sun (blue sky) and i forgot to put sun protection on, i was wearing short (about half way down my top part of the legs) and t-shirt, and i got burnt on my legs, my arms, my neck, faces. and after i got sunburn about 5 days i wore the same t-shirt and short so it wouldn't touch my sunburn. after a week i was starting and peel.

Ive only gotten sunburnt maybe three times in my whole entire life. My nose and shoulders. Other times i just get a golden glow tan. I know, i know. sun ages your skin. i dont spend much time in the sun. but when i do, its kinda nice to have a sun kissed glow.

i never get a sunburn because i carry an umbrella with me when it is sunny. the sun ages you, gives you cancer, and causes you to squint, sometimes even with sunglasses. you need 10 minutes a day maximum for vitamin D production. other than that, everything is awful about it.

hahaha where did u get that 5th grade logic?this is not tru for skin. our skin absorbs and dissipates the sun at an equal rate. just like earth's surface water absorbs and dissipates at an equilibrium to keep cool.our skin converts sunlight into VITAMIN D this is why we have the strongest bones & rarely suffer from bone diseases like osteoporosis.i dont know wat rock u live under but u have never heard of a black person getn sunburn we only get a tan. scientifically black skin is gud 4 u.

Dark skin naturally has more melanin, which is the protective pigment in skin, so they have more protection, which is logical, evolutionarily speaking, as people who were in the sun alot needed protection while white people, who didn't live in constant sun didn't need it so therefore didn't evolve it

the only thing that being dark could maybe do is bring more heat...it doesn't attract/absorb UV, it just absorbs heat.

you forgot to mention that when you are near water it intensifies the burn

and, when you walk near the ocean because of the salt content, the burn can be intensified because the sun's rays are way stronger.

I didn't learn that until i burned myself to a crisp and looked like a lobster then peeled like a banana.
