Johnsson had very little to do with Demonoid, it was the Niemann brothers who played guitar and bass with Therion for awhile, this is more their project. Johnsson did do vocals, but he's quit the project, as the Niemann brothers have quit Therion, though I don't think there are any hard feelings between them, and both bands do rule!
growling and grunting harmonies have been around since cannibal corpse and deicide and vital remains it goes way back lol it is sick though its a very filling sound
