lazybone...puhlease..tna was going good last year..then dixie' shoulders' carter took over and they dropped like brick. having hoganand bischoff come in and their rating now is about a 1.0 and this time last year before hogan tna was at a 1.3 tna is bleeding money no matter what carter says, they draw 600 to 900 people a show compared to wwe who draw 5 to 20 thousand...their ppv buy rate is 7 or 8 thousand and wwe does 180 thousand and up...and their merchandise sales are horrible theysuck
@Beepboom uh last year when tna was getting a consistent 1.3 rating, the main events on impact featured angle, nash, booker t, bobby lashley, mick foley, scott steiner and sting. Sure the ratings were slightly higher then but the product and wrestling were absolute SHIT. Now Tna has a 1.1 rating or so with main events involving wrestlers who can actually wrestle: styles, pope, anderson, angle, hardy, kaz, mcmg, beer money etc. WWE is doing better business then Tna but they r losing money too

@lazybone2009 Actuary, UFC&Strikeforce is putting every wrestling company in a harsh time and WWE survive by having a cheaper show that they could have and by having activities out of wrestling. TNA have more difficulties.
But TNA also have another problems... WWE: they have to do a great match at wrestlemania... Shawn Michael vs Undertaker been done twice, so what stay that fan will pay for? For instance, Sting vs Undertaker will pay by itself, but put the price of Stinger higher for both.

And that match up is still, technically, possible: the two still wrestle, they still have some years ahead of them in good shape and if Vince sign them for Wrestlemania one day he is sure to have one good match...

TNA made a mistake. Angle/Hardy/Anderson? What's "TNA" about that? that sucks! TNA need to think of the future, and making a niche for themselves, getting their own name out there, not just guys with "WWE" stamped on them. lazybone...puhlease..tna was going good last year..then dixie' shoulders' carter took over and they dropped like brick. having hoganand bischoff come in and their rating now is about a 1.0 and this time last year before hogan tna was at a 1.3 tna is bleeding money no matter what carter says, they draw 600 to 900 people a show compared to wwe who draw 5 to 20 thousand...their ppv buy rate is 7 or 8 thousand and wwe does 180 thousand and up...and their merchandise sales are horrible theysuck

@Beepboom uh last year when tna was getting a consistent 1.3 rating, the main events on impact featured angle, nash, booker t, bobby lashley, mick foley, scott steiner and sting. Sure the ratings were slightly higher then but the product and wrestling were absolute SHIT. Now Tna has a 1.1 rating or so with main events involving wrestlers who can actually wrestle: styles, pope, anderson, angle, hardy, kaz, mcmg, beer money etc. WWE is doing better business then Tna but they r losing money too

@lazybone2009 Actuary, UFC&Strikeforce is putting every wrestling company in a harsh time and WWE survive by having a cheaper show that they could have and by having activities out of wrestling. TNA have more difficulties.
But TNA also have another problems... WWE: they have to do a great match at wrestlemania... Shawn Michael vs Undertaker been done twice, so what stay that fan will pay for? For instance, Sting vs Undertaker will pay by itself, but put the price of Stinger higher for both.

@lonnyv1 My point is that there is a lots of demands for the Sting ;) Maybe more than Hogan and Flair because, well let face it, they are not in that good of a shape compare to the Sting. And that match up is still, technically, possible: the two still wrestle, they still have some years ahead of them in good shape and if Vince sign them for Wrestlemania one day he is sure to have one good match...

And they could take months to prepare physically for that, with an angle and all this stuff: what the hell, they could even take a year to do it. It just have to be at the good show, with the right publicity.
Plus, Mark Calaway a.k.a the Undertaker is only 45 years old, and Sting... Well, he is 51 but he look in good shape.

TNA made a mistake. Angle/Hardy/Anderson? What's "TNA" about that? that sucks! TNA need to think of the future, and making a niche for themselves, getting their own name out there, not just guys with "WWE" stamped on them. They should have had Angle vs. Pope at BFG, had Pope win cleanly, shake hands, then build a feud with Pope and Desmond Wolfe. That would have been awesome.

Bischoff truly thought all he had to do was move TNA to Monday nights, get Jeff Hardy and RVD...and the ratings would soar. Oh yeah and install a WCW entrance way in the Impact Zone! HAH. Times are so different now as opposed to the early 90s. Its gonna take a whole lot more. TNA has all the talent n the world, but ther overall product seriously lacks structure. the storylines seriously lack depth and are awful most of the time. The direction is so scattered. They really need Heyman to fix shit.

Why get paul heymann? Personally I think he is overatted I mean ECW was good but it was the guys like sabu terry funk rvd etc. that made it. They got bischoff he is much better than people give him credit he took wcw to the top for 84 weeks in a row, heymann never did that. Problem with Heyman possibly coming is I read an interview a week ago and he basically admitted he would only come to TNA as a Business and that means , he wants a % of the Company as a whole.
I can not see TNA/Dixie/PandaEnergy giving away a % to Heyman ! and to be I do not blame them either !
Pay him good money but do not give the Company away.

Dixie Carter is an absolute idiot and has no fucking clue about the wrestling business. GET RID NASH, JARRETT, STING, HOGAN, BISHOFF, TEAM 3D and that's just the beginning.
Also I would rather support WWE at the moment, a company that is at least pushing new talent (Sheamus, Miz, Barrett, Kaval, Swagger). NXT may not be the best show around, least they are attempting to expose upcoming stars like The Nexus, Joe Hennig, Husky Harris and others.

Maybe if they get off Spike TV their might be a possibility that they can get a bigger fanbase, NBC is my biggest choice, but they'd most likely not allow it since WWE's ever year special occasion called Saturday Night's Main Event is broacasted on their, unless they stopped showing it IDK, I haven't watched WWE in so long.

@justineandcd I.M.O. I believe that TNA would be better if they started hiring more new comers like WWE, but using them to their full potential. There's several independent circuits to choose from, yet they still keep on deciding to add washed up WWE rejects. The only superstars that were cut from WWE that I believe should stay on TNA is the D'angelo, Kurt, and Jeff Hardy the rest are useless. If they don't want to do that they can atleast bring back the superstars that build TNA's foundation.

Why is there a kickoff show for an event that's over a month in the future? Why does Dixie Carter think people want to see her on TV and on a kickoff show? TNA's ratings are tanking partially because Dixie Carter keeps appearing. The September 9th edition of WWE Superstars did a 0.58 (0.6) rating with 579,000 viewers. The replay did a 0.25 (0.3) rating with 254,000 viewers.
-- TNA iMPACT! was pre-empted Thursday as reported earlier, but the Gangland shows that aired in that timeslot did a 0.52 (0.5) rating. This is way below what iMPACT! usually does.
