Haa! It's kinda weird seeing the steering wheel on that side. I'm in the USA so ours is on the other side. I thing I'm getting either a 2001 honda civic or a 2001 or newer chevy truck. I hope I get the truck! Great first car, Toyota makes a great car. Good luck with the car!

@icyshadow67 Chevy Trucks are gas guzzlers, get a Nissan Pathfinder instead. Diesel version. Nice leather seats, great leg room, screen etc. Or is it too expensive i dont know about prices in USA.

@Un4givScap3 ya thanks for the advise, I took a look at them, the 1996-1997 model and it is around $5,000. Thats the top of my price range for what im looking for. I also want a little extra room for insurance and gas. I have been looking hard at the Ford F-150's. they are great on gas and they are good reliable trucks for 3,000-4,000 dollars here. Also the ford f-150's get about 28 mpg highway and 24 mpg city.

Sweet ride Bro, i have the same one in silver . . . but it looks like, where ever it is your from, they came with roof mounted antennas. I like the U.S. version antenna on the back, which I swapped out for an S2K style.

their is nothing "POS" about that car! My second car was the us equivalent GTS and it was amazing (for a naturally aspirated 4 banger). Chicks swooned over it, it murdered all my friend's Hondas, and it never had any mechanical issues...untill I flipped it on the kinda road you just don't race down.

18" wheels are ALMOST too big for the Celica... A nice drop with 16" or 17" wheels looks perfect. I have 16's and they look very well with the 2.5" drop. Do you know how much money it costs to install a nice turbo system in a Celica? Before you buy one go to newcelica.o-r-g.

Plus it has added safety. if you prefer the older models thats fine by me, but personally this is the gen for me :) Thx for the feedback anyways (Y)

@OkayBoot Oh. Your one of those people against older cars. And no. The fifth generation GT- Four is now sort after as they were used in rally. World Champion car. So chances are, one with low mileage in showroom condition will be MUCH higher priced than the "top" line of these Celicas. Toyota made these a city car, it wasn't what the Celica was meant to be. They're a rally car, born and bred. This was to try and suck some cash out of the dieing model.

@MasterThug the car runs beautifully, not one problem yet, and we have not had to change the oil or anything on it and the fuel consumption is fantastic, if you are just driving around town just keep it below 3000 revs (if you have a manual) and your fuel will last for ages! the car is just fantastic in all ways :)

@OkayBoot its different here. At 16, we can get a temporary licence, which is that you're allowed to drive but with an adult that had his licence for at least two years. If you take practise courses (12 hours), you have to keep the temporary for 8 months before going for the test, thats what i did. But now theres a new law, which they started applying about two months after i started the process. With the new law it takes a little longer before getting the actual licence, i got lucky.
