yes siasabora leo umedinya point. These people should go back to the villages and plant crops for our country. congestion in the city and high crime rates These is not living its something else.
Go Back to Rural Areas....this is not living. Mediocre Secondary n Nurseries Schools, Fake teachers and Quack clinics now diarrhoea, vomiting and deaths...Who said life can only be lived in Nairobi?
The situation on the ground is not that simple. Look at the IDPs for example. Most have absolutely nothing which means no capital, then to make matters worse, they lack the exposure that some of us have been privileged to. If I were in their shoes I would probably have done the same thing. U r right though, if one is smart money will be found anywhere.
Yeah Dan: Imagine over 60% of city residents live in slums. With CDF working fairly well I rather we've these poor families in a rural constituency not squabbling for a livelihood with deadly germs and viruses here.
Yes, cholera is sad and primitive. With reference to CDF and Constituencies, the most serious problem emerging in Nairobi is its ethnic demarcation. Imagine more than 40 ethnic groups trying to have at least one constituency within Nairobi at all costs!! Scramble for Nairobi should stop. The government should begin a program of resettlement in the rural areas. E.g., instead of the unworkable and unsustainable upgrading of Kibera, households should be given money to build houses in Yalgunga.
It won't make sense to boil water when you have raw sewage running next to your door, the sukuma wiki they buy was grown using the same nasty water(free manure), the guy who sells you mandas round the corner moved from shaggs after dropping out of class 5 and has no idea of basic hygiene..dirty hands and everything, flying toilet on your roof drips in your living room via a tiny hole from the roof, shake your neigbours hand who has no water after a toilet visit...your done. boiling water...neehh

i also suppose that kenyans in the diaspora should go back and develop kenya. sounds easy in theory.
goo1358 2 years ago 3
hehehehe...don't even bother.
You would only make existing slum problems much worse. Stay here,Goo1358.

Do we really need to go back and tell them that it is important to boil water before drinking?
