hey man. i have not yet purchased my time capsule but im sure i will, but i was just wondering... if i already have a wireless network in my home and do not want to replace it with the time capsule, would i have to hook up the time capsule via ethernet? or can it just work off my existing network?

Thats pretty much what it is holmes. A wireless external hard drive. If you have MobileMe you can connect to it over the internet also provided that that both the Time Capsule and your client computer have an internet connection.

yes it can. in the setup that you would go through it will ask three questions. One of which is you have an existing router and you want to combine them so to speak.
