its cool that you told people to vote against it if they dont like it.
isnt this the same site that legalization of marijuana was the #1 topic, and then obama laughed at it, and said it was "one of the more popular subjects" and insulted people -everyone- who uses the internet. ? I think it is... what else can I say you hit it right on.
Yes prison reforn and drug reform is a must. They are maeing law abiding peacefull citizens criminals for there own profit. The profit dont just come from the housing of these individuals btu they also make them work. Yes leagleized slavery. The idea that a citizen can loose all their rights because of something as harmless as smoking pot (in your own home to boot) is just absurd. Peace and Liberty for all.
i just saw your vid shas i cant believe i missed it but i believe they said they will have a second round for voting on it, so ill be definitely be watching out for that. END THE PROHIBITION ON MARIJUANA!
Yup Shas, I agree with you 110%!! The part of the video where you said you offered the sheriff to burn with you is hillarious!! :) What it all comes down to is the all mighty dollar and corrupt politicians, lobbists and business people who can make the most money....that's what it's all about, in my opinion. President Obama has a lot of work ahead. Hopefully he is open minded to new ideas and will be able to pull it off!!
Thanks shas. You speak of organized crime. This was once a phenomenon isolated to black market activities primarily originating with the Mafia. Unfortunately, organized crime IS the government now. How much will and can Obama accomplish in correcting this? That is more up to us than many of us realize.
Thanks for saying what needs to be said. I voted for the #1 issue. I hope it gets Obama's attention. This will be a good chance to see if, we the people, have any say in what our government actually does. Sadly, however, there are alot of corporate, government and criminal interests, who will vigorously oppose this.
Here are the final results of the voting: #10 - Develop & Implement a National Strategy for Sustainability 9,644 #9 - Pass Marriage Equality Rights for LGBT Couples Nationwide 11,889 #8 - DREAM Act - Support Higher Education for All Students 12,010 #7 - Health Freedom IS Our First Freedom 12,062 #6 - Save Small Business From the CPSIA 12,280
Thanks Shas, just voted to legalize marijuana. Also, as it stands "Getting serious about ending sexual violence"(1385 votes) is in 45th Place and needs 7,800 more votes to make a difference What sickens me is that more people are concerned about having a "National Holiday on Election Day" (1465 votes) than they are about issues surrounding sexual abuse???
A very interesting, informative and thought provoking discourse. Drugs are drugs and they all have their place. The ongoing research into mulipleschlerosis I follow. I don't condone the legalisation of any illegal substance, but I do agree that, with validated research, they have their place.
You got my vote!! It is a crazy waste of money to put people in jail for pot. Not one person has OD on pot. It was all lies and people who have know idea what the real facts are on pot are the one to say no or it leads to something more have their heads are stuck in the sand. Open your eyes and free your mind from what the old Gov has filled it with it was all lies!!! Duke
my better half and i still believe marijuana leads to more harmful drugs after pot loses it's intrigue and appeal. our vote is still "no" to legalization of it.
Please google the Cannabis Conspiracy and read how all the big companies made big lies about hemp in the 30´s. Henry Ford built his first car completely from hemp products and running on Hemp oil. Interesting piece of history. Also if you legalize all drugs, you take it out of the criminal circuit and have a possibility to help people who become a victim of their own addictive nature. Coffee, sugar, Alcohol, chocolate....
just voted for hemp, and legalization, and ending the war on drugs. i also voted on banning BSL (breed specific legislation) which mainly targets pitbulls, or any dog that has similar characteristics. bsl stands for BS laws. (2 votes left now)
im deffinatley doing this. trying to get an account right now. good video too. this site isnt a bad idea. but only 12,000 for legalization???? eh... #1 topic though thats good.
I just went there and I cant find it? I typed it in and it says 10 votes left? thats all? Nothing about voting on it? Help! I want to legalize it! Down to the ancient laws!
Yes! Yes! Yes! I want to smoke legal! Dont be one of those people that smoke it and pretend you dont to everyone else to make yourself look better? Drinking is way worse than Marajuana ever thought about being and if I were to look down upon anyone? I would actually look down upon a drunk before a pot head anyday! haha! The ancient laws need to be changed! Also I have a friend in jail for 20 years for a seed! Come on? a seed? Yet a drunk driver can walk?
I hope Obama listens. How can he justify imprisoning other Americans for inhaling? He did it all the time. As he said, "That was the point!" I'm off to cast my vote, thanks for the warning.
PS! You've inspired me to grow out my beard and my wife thanks you, she loves beards and just thinks you look great in this video and I do as well. Peace,...Mark
Good to hear from you Shas, the share thing isn't working, just like the war on drugs. I'm lighting one up right now my friend and will be adding my voice to this good cause. Wars are far more dangerous and destructive than a nation sitting around getting stoned and having fun. Someday folks will figure out that pot is probably the ultimate medicine for almost anything that inflicts us. So good to hear from you Shas! Mark and Noy
howdy Mr SHAS and sir you lookin good hope you get 2 feelin beter my friend great story 2 brother and i def agree if they smoked thed be so happy and lookin for the capn crunch this was a great vid man be cool 2 have a sit down wit ya we would get along great !!!!!!!!!
In the past year 1,600 people have died as a result of the 'war on drugs' in El Paso/Juarez. The city council of El Paso has proposed a resolution that includes the "controversial request for an open and honest debate on the prohibition of drugs." Now, why a request for debate should be seen as "controversial" is a puzzle to me, but here's a little video of a CNN report on the situation. I think it's well worth a watch: watch?v=03xsgIk2Gzg
Great video.. I like what you said about "if everyone in the 60's from all religions would sit down and smoke a J with each other, then they'd all get along" Basically. I think it is more so because when you smoke J you are relaxed and your own personal goals are put on the back seat. You start to see the larger picture. It does have a calming affect, not only physically, but mentally.
It is definitely when people put aside personal goals and agendas that everyone gets along.
Literally everything "bad" in the world stems from a personal agenda, weather it is to be have money, control, power, or even freedom. Freedom as most people know it is only our leaders points of view. We as people in the United States have limited freedom. There are laws and rules that prevent us from doing certain things. true freedom needs no laws because nobody acts on selfish agendas. In a perfect society, people will work for the common good.
Not because they have to, but because they want to. And the only true reason people would ever work for the common good is for love of life. When people stop seeking out pleasures and start "seeing," learning, everything becomes clear.
I've never smoked and at this point have no desire to but the war on this particular kind of drug needs to end for all the reasons you mentioned. Even if pot were bad, this war on it is 'badder'!
Glad to see you up and about, Shas! With uke or not! Being a swede, I'm not really that involved in that issue (weed will be legalized in Sweden when hell freezes over...), but I wish you good luck and most of all good health! Now, play us a song, buddy...
its cool that you told people to vote against it if they dont like it.
