  • :ooo:

  • Cant believe he was defeated even in his UBW. He could swordspam Berserker to death in there, but instead try to take him head on~

  • @yggdrasilify Plot Armor.

  • 2012, still the beast animes' scene

  • EYE HAF CRE-ATED over A THOUSANDS BLASE

  • I don't know whether to like or dislike:

    Dislike: My favorite character dies

Like: He dies LIKE A BOSS! ;D

  • What is you're opinion of Archer?

Me: He's alright (didn't watch the video)

    *watches the video*

What do you think of Archer?

Me: ARCHER!!!! NO!!!! >;( *Cries waterfalls*

  • “I am the bone of my sword.

Steel is my body and fire is my blood.

I have created over a thousand blades.

    Unknown to death.

    Nor known to life.

Have withstood pain to create many weapons.

Yet, those hands will never hold anything.

So, as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works”

  • why didnt he use the unlimited blade gilgamesh style :( he coulda won

  • "I am the bone of my sword" bwahahaha (naughty thoughts)

  • I actually have the DVD for this show (I only watched it in Japanese since I don't like too many dubs)... And when this scene came up, I was SO stunned at how good -and sexy, I add- Archer's English was despite it being in Japanese.

Kudos to YOU, Junichi Suwabe! 0.0

  • the 1st time i saw this i'm like, "wtf what the hell is knives is doing without his angel arm.?!"

but the show overall is awesomw both trigun and fate syay night

  • Oh! Archer is so badass, thank you for posting this in Japanese, and not the horrible English Dub, seriously thank you.

  • Good job fuckwits, replying to a 2 year old comment...fucking idiots

  • or even an angel

  • I wonder if archer is micheal angelo the angel the asian version

  • @Jimmyluong12 Archer is future version of Shiro Emiya

  • @hollowichigo778 oooo really? how do u know? did they make a another episode or something?

  • My favorite part of the whole anime!

  • That song at the end, I heard that somewhere.

    Komm Susser Tod?

  • it hurts the dub did a better job with archers chant

  • eh, never got around to watching the last episode of this series...

but IMO, Archer is te best outta any of them, all the rest i was kinda like, meh, wit.

  • i watched first 5 episodes and the anime hasnt really gripped me

but watching this makes me want to keep going (that and i bought it on dvd for 30 quid XD) and this makes me want to make my archer costume even more

  • @thevidtestacc So true

  • @Luan431

true but if you don't know archer is the future shiro. So he wouldn't kill her.

  • @jak30016 If I didn't already watch the movie 3 weeks ago, i'd be so mad at you.

  • Hercules' fantasm is such fuckin hacks. You have to kill him 11 times? i swear Ilya is using the freakin konami code

  • @1337penguinking Despite the fact that he has 11 lives, Saber and Shirou take 7 of Berserker's lives at once. That's even more cheating!

  • @Mishakis Yeah but Excalibur is Sabers most powerful attack if Shirou hadnt already taken out 6 he would have survived. and Gilgamesh takes all of them at once thats cheatin.

  • @1337penguinking Given that Gilgamesh is the oldest and most powerful servant, that's not cheating. Berserker is far from beating Gilgamesh, but he had chances against Saber. I just can't stand the one-shot-kill. Archer versus Berserker was the most realistic fight in this anime, though the result was known before its start.

  • @Mishakis Archer had a chance to beat berserker AND Gilgamesh, yes, Archer CAN actually defeat gilgamesh and berserker, If Archer used Unlimited blade works Earlier, he would defeat berserker with ease, and For Gilgamesh, Archer could counter almost every of his attacks, EXCEPT for Ea, which is why Archer can attack Gilgamesh faster, and not giving him time to take out Ea

  • Engrish man! awesome :)

  • Beserker jumps! Archer prepares a shot.....10 seconds later he aims!

Beserker: 0:25 ("making car noises should make me jump faster") Broooooooooomrrrah"

  • @less2spam What about Gilgamesh and his master? both are males.

  • @Nakusoy Kotomine and Gil are fags. lol.

  • ㅇㅁㅇ Archer!!! Nooooo~~ :(

There's no point in Fate without Archer!!

  • @lokabrenna37 yeah archer is the best

  • thats actually true Fleri001 in the visual novel of fate stay night they do have sex to restore their energy, thats why all partners are opposite sex shiro saber rin archer get it?

  • That is Shirou so he already exp that 3-some.

  • and while all of this is happening, guess what shirou was up to?

    lucky bastard

  • archer is actually shirou in the future

  • The chant is actually pretty much improvised in english, only a few places match.. The straight translation from the game is MUCH BETTER.. It actually suits archer.. From the straight translation, he talks how he really is, like he is mentally weak and that all his existence consists of making swords (And drawing blood in that matter..)..

If you don't know what i mean by it, you should play the visual novel and do the ''Unlimited blade works path'' ...

  • Ilya crying, "Berserker!" ...This is code for, "You're about to be annhilated."

  • "I am the bone of my sword"

lol can't ANYONE translate it as "I am the BOW of my SOUL" xD?

  • @Dan1loBr yeah i know...people have bad ears i picked up on that my first time watching it

  • @Rhoten666 ö.o I was impressed that... it's actually bone and sword as well...

but in this part, the anime, he actually sounds like BONE (there's a short N in the end) and SOUL(like souru)

in on of the franchise's games, unlimited codes, there's text when you make the chant, it says 'i am the bone of my sword' o.o

people who go deep in the series say it makes sense so...

ö.o we can't complain now, can we?

  • @Dan1loBr wow, either way he sounds badass when hes saying it..so thats all that matters xD

  • I love Berserkes Subtitles! :)

And the way they're casting their Spells in this Anime. At least Rin uses German nursery rhymes wich sounds pretty funny, when your german yourself.

The German subtitles of the German nursery rhymes in the Japanese Version where the most funny thing. :D

  • Berserk sounds like he's doing the motorboat. You motor boatin' sun of a gun.

  • Gotta love Archer's engrish :P

  • this...... is my favorite video

  • I never knew about Fate/Stay Night until a friend suggested adding it to a Crossover RP I had been running. I gotta admit it's pretty cool. ALMOST on par with some of the fights in Bleach ^_^

  • @gamester512

Read the visual novels. The fights become even more insane.

Fate/Zero, the prequel puts Servants at hypersonic speeds even.

  • I literally love Archer when he speaks English in the Japanese version. He sounds so freaking cool!

  • @suicidalbarney haha ye, i have create ove a thousanth blaze xD

  • u guys do know that his emiya from the future but from a different present .... wew well u know wat i mean.^___^

  • dont fucking spoil it for the guys who havent read the VN

  • 1:36 owns all xD

  • i did not know rin does threesomes. i guess she was interested.

  • While Archer was fighting Berserker, Rin was having a 3-some with Shirou and Saber, to restore Saber's energy through sex...at least in the game. xD

  • are you fucking serious

  • Yeah, I am. I'v completed the game.

  • wow thats just wow

  • And giant bad CG dragon is a euphemism for this threesome in the anime.

    :x

  • @Fleri001 what game

  • @Fleri001 LOL true XD,Loved that scene. Rin Rin Rin RIn Rin <3 @_@

  • @Fleri001 Mm, I just played that. She declares that Archer is dead and then they have the 3-some... I don't know if that's better or worse than doing it while he's fighting... xD

  • @Fleri001 hahaha yup definantly true

  • @Fleri001 Archer is Shirou, he´s naturally ensuring his most-likely only threesome ever, who could EVER blame him for that? :o

  • I haven't thought shirou will be this cool in his future... :D the fact is, archer is shirou's future... just after the 5th holy grail war... :D

  • archer is still badass, i dun care if berserker won this battle! hes like a swordsman, an archer, and magician (sorta, when tracing) since he took out some lives out of berserker, supposedly the strongest servant, he should be able to beat the other servants!

  • This episode gave me respect for archer.

  • OOH i love archer speeking english *_*

  • Anime is made in Japan, therefore it is better in Japanese.

  • Not necessarily. See Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell SAC, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

  • Yea FMA for japanese really didnt get good voices compare to the english dub ones. Same to stuff like Full Metal Panic, Fushigi Yuugi, DragonBall :)

  • @mugiwarafan14 you lie. dub is better.

  • @brindlebull13 Yeah, 20 people don't agree with you HERE. :DDD

  • @SouthernRiprey whats 20 people lol. dub is still better than sub. its a show not a book.

  • @brindlebull13 20 people here. Millions outside. In any case, Dub is better than sub... Haha... Yeah, original japanese-dub. If you can't stand subs, go learn japanese since you actually need to concentrate that hard to read subs. -_-

  • @SouthernRiprey nah, Japanese voices are quite annoying to listen to. maybe not on this anime. but on many others. English Dub just enhances on these voices to make the anime better, and so its understandable in a worldwide language. I never said it takes concentration to read subs. I said its a show, not a book. A show is meant to be watched, not read. So reading no matter what you say takes away from the animation that they worked so hard to produce.

  • @brindlebull13 I like your reason, but the cause you are fighting for is just... god. There is a very good reason why characters in anime are voiced by their seiyuus... It's because they fit.

The English dub just sticks out like a sore thumb, really. And what the hell do you mean by it "enhances" on these voices? I call bullshit on that. Seriously.

By the way, I don't know about you, but reading subs are effortless. It's a lot better than hearing an English dub. Or any other, for that matter.

  • @SouthernRiprey I dont understand what is wrong with hearing english dub, when they spend a ton of time, specifically Funimation to make the voices work perfectly with the anime. I never hardly ever noticed dub "sticking out like a sore thumb" before, but it must be tragic. listening to Japanese voices while trying to watch an anime is not my idea of entertainment. Thus reading subtitles is much less interesting than hearing professional voice actors like Liam O'Brien etc.

  • @brindlebull13 Let's put it this way, they can try extremely hard, but they just can't keep up with the original Japanese seiyuus. I hear enough of english voices in my daily life that a change would be very much appreciated. It's the amount of emotion, and also perhaps how "right" they fit in.

And once again, you make it seem as though reading substitles will kill you. It doesn't take that much effort to read subs, and most of them are done pretty well by various groups like Mazui etc...

  • @SouthernRiprey they succeed in making the anime better, and the dub seems more emotional than the seiyuus you are so fond of. Hearing enough english voices daily isnt much of an excuse. They have unique voices and they are able to portray the character much better in most cases than a Japanese voice. I didnt make it seem like subs would kill you, once again. I was stating how listening to a language you understand takes less effort than reading a language you understand.

  • @brindlebull13 They succeed, in what way? Seiyuus on a general whole can convey the emotion required for their roles, unlike your dub replacements.

Take for example, CLANNAD ~ After Story Episode 18.

No dub can recreate that episode. If I had to watch the dub for that episode, I'll go kill myself.

Oh yes, regarding "unqiue voices" Maaya Sakamoto is a lot better, having the ability to voice many roles with a unique feel to it. Take a look at Ranka Lee and Ryougi Shiki.

  • @SouthernRiprey Dub replaces actually can convey the emotion required for their roles so i do not understand your previous statement. and I never commented on unique voice actors. There are English voice actors that have the ability to voice many roles with unique feels to it, just as well as any japanese voice, if not better. Just because they created the animation, doesnt mean they have the best voices. I would only agree that the japanese have better animators than english do, but not VA's

  • @brindlebull13 You don't understand? I'll put it straight: "They CAN, but they don't. They just aren't as good. I'd rather hear a "KAWAII DESU!" then a "Oh. That's cute *insert american accent here.*

    Seriously.

  • @SouthernRiprey Id rather not hear a whining "KAWAII DESU!!" and hear a meaningful "that is cute".

  • @brindlebull13 "that is cute" would be so wrong in an anime like Denpa Onna.

  • @SouthernRiprey We weren't talking about an anime like Denpa Onna.

  • @brindlebull13 I'm talking about anime on a general whole. You get my point now? I'm simply referencing to the various tons of anime out there. That's just an example.

  • the example was bad because there was no need for one. There could be long list of anime which "cute" would be better than "KAWAII DESU" and another big amount which "KAWAII DESU" would be more appropriate in.

  • @brindlebull13 I literally meant it when I said "KAWAII DESU" No, I don't think an "Oh. That's cute. *In English*" would fit in any anime. Ryougi Shiki can be calmly saying: "Kawaii desu." whilst Ryuushi could be hysterically shouting: "KAWAII DESU"

If Ryougi Shiki was dubbed in English, I'd throw my BD box out.

If Ryuushi was dubbed in English, I'd do the same thing, and then I'll go rage quit this world.

The same applies for dubs of any language.

  • @SouthernRiprey saying it is cute in english sounds a lot better than a kawaii desu in japanese though. So I would prefer it be dubbed properly in English.

  • @brindlebull13 "Dubbed properly in English? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Please go back to your "Last Airbender" And stay there. Don't come back. The already deteriorating anime community really doesn't need people like you. Good luck trying to find people who support your cause.

  • @SouthernRiprey says the immature rager. I guess I win the debate of maturity here. And the rest is unsettled. I'll let you take a win on the sub debate since this video this subbed video is your domain. What I meant by properly in English is not poorly in English. But since you are so close-minded like I said, you do not see a difference. I'll go wherever I want with my cause. and the forever growing anime community will realize the benefits of English dub once their skulls thin.

  • And the difference in effort is... very minimal. Almost negligible. At least it is a lot better than listening to audio that sticks out like hell instead.

What I mean by that... Well, have you ever seen an American speaking perfectly fluent Chinese? Or perhaps a Japanese speaking perfectly fluent English...?

I don't know about you, but that DOES stick out. It just doesn't fit. The same regarding anime, too.

  • @SouthernRiprey that didnt have to do with anime at all really. English dub doesn't really stand out at all. I understand how you believe everyone should see the original. But the original isn't always the best. In anime it isnt for most. In music however, original is better. But again, the "audio that sticks out" really doesn't occur like you state it does.

  • @brindlebull13 You can't apply concepts, can you? The same problem applies with anime, our characters are drawn with an "anime" style and the voice that supplements it is also that of an "anime" style, which matches.

The English voice simply throws that balance off. On a general whole, English VAs just can't compare to Japanese Seiyuus, who are simply better in terms of "fitting" the role.

I'm starting to wonder exactly what anime you are watching...

  • @SouthernRiprey English dub doesn't throw any balance off. English VAs actually do compare to Seiyuus, and english actors can easily fit a role perfectly and properly.

  • @brindlebull13 Do you get my point? Those are ANIME CHARACTERS, they aren't AMERICAN CARTOON CHARACTERS. I guess you don't read what people type. I don't want shitty american dub-overs in my ANIME CHARACTERS. The same applies vice-versa. I don't want no japanese seiyuus in The Last Airbender either.

Long story short, here's my point: American Voices suit American Cartoons (which sadly as of late, sucks.)

Japanese Seiyuus suit Japanese Anime. (which is also facing a slump in recent times.)

  • @SouthernRiprey Yeah they were animated in japan/americans, but it does not mean one voices better than the other. I am sure a Japanese Seiyuus can voice an american cartoon well. But I also think english VA over anime sounds better. I get your point on how you want to keep everything in its place. Doesnt mean they voice it better. English voice actors that dub over some anime sounds better than the japanese who did, they just do.

  • @brindlebull13 My main point here is not to "keep everything in place". It's my point of how I would love to see saber speaking with her japanese voice instead of an English accent.

YES, SHE MAYBE A BRITISH KING WITH EXCALIBUR, but seriously... that just sounds so out of place.

The thing is, these anime directors CHOSE THESE SEIYUUS for a good reason. They fit, and they don't sound out of place. Everyone still loves Rin Tohsaka's Kana Ueda, not Mela Lee.

    Your... "dubbers" weren't hand chosen.

  • @SouthernRiprey maybe not by the director, but they were hand chosen for the part if they can voice that character properly. Why would a British king with Excalibur sounds better as a japanese voice? that hardly makes any sense. The characters voice should fit the character more properly than that then. The directors choose those those Seiyuus for a reason, and it is because that is what is available to them.

  • @brindlebull13 To you, that british king would sound perfectly right with your dub. To the vast majority of F/s n fans out there, they don't agree.

Oh yes, do not mistake the Japanese seiyuu scene for the English one, unlike your dub's rather limited talent pool (if they can be called one to begin with), Japan has a rather huge talent pool. The directors do have access to various seiyuus, and some are even highly sought out for, and with good reason.

  • @SouthernRiprey You are just too close minded to think otherwise, the small pool that english does have makes up for it with raw talent, which many seiyuus do not have, but some sure do. I am sure that many F/s night fans also prefer dub in that, and many other anime.

  • @brindlebull13 Your "many" is a minority group. Do some research, please. Also, who are you to call me close minded? Aren't you being close minded by also simply sticking to dubs?

"Raw-talent"? Please... seiyuus in Japan are a lot more talented, on a general whole. Having careers that branch out into other media like singing or even acting.

  • @brindlebull13 Also, before you call me a weaboo for only liking seiyuus, let me make this stance clear to you: In my very honest opinion, any show should be watched in it's original audio. That includes non-anime media like movies, operas and etc... etc.

It's part of the original experience. I don't want something "better" (usually, it's not the case), I just want the way it was meant to be watched.

  • @mugiwarafan14

Not necessarily. Generally, that's absolutely true. But it all really depends on the quality of the voice actors, among other things.

  • @mugiwarafan14 "But who says a copy cannot defeat the original"

  • lol same. so cool

  • Yeah, Archer owns.

    Shirou FTW!!

  • Who says "Archer" cannot use swords?

  • His Engrish is about as awesome as Geese Howard's

  • archer only have half of the power a normal servant have so taking 5 of Berserker's 7 life's (the strongest servant) was pretty darn good even tho it wasn't more than expected of "him" xD

  • Sorry to reply on your comment 2 months ago, but Berserker has 12 lives if I'm not mistaken.

  • yeas but what breez9201 meant was that Archer took around 5 to 7 of those lives before he lost his own life.

  • actually Archer rank is same rank with saber. both this servant is knight rank and so do lancer. info frm their website

  • Archer is not the same level as Saber or Lancer.

He admits he could never beat Saber if she had proper Master (ie- Tohsaka) and he only survived against Lancer both times thanks to luck.

  • u r right. but archer is still same rank with lancer & saber. three of then r knight rank. like caster. caster is sorcerer rank

  • hmmmm.

    yes i guess your right.

sorry i got confused a little, my bad.

  • never mind.

  • it's not rank.

    it's class

  • the Archer is better!!!

  • I have created over 9000 blades

  • The most suprised is that archer was Shirou in past

  • archer is my most favourite character..

  • Archer was my favorite. b4 this part...i wondered why he didnt use a bow

  • it's bcause his bow cause him lots of mana as said in fate stay night novel

  • Beserker is scarier than bigfoot or yetti

  • woot first comment ^_^ , archer is the best , awsome vid (o.o)b
