I am a proud Phillies fan living in Red Sox territory. The cap I wear has the 70s/80's logo on it and you would be surprised by how many people here recognize it. Most reactions are positive but there are a few jerks that point out the hat and tell me that the Phillies suck. Fuck 'em - we won the World Series!

well it's not just baseball. many sports are like that. I also want to see teams like cleveland, oakland, twins, houston or milwaukee in the playoffs cause its getting pretty old seeing boston, both new york teams, atlanta, anaheim (yes when they're 45 minutes freeway drive outside L.A. county they ARE NOT a los angeles team) all the time. But when you're a Dodger fan since childhood you dont want to see the Phillies in it this year.

I'm no Boston fan but that team there, alone, is worth watching because of the team's history and players in the roster. On the other hand, who would want to watch, lets say, the Royals go up against the Padres? Their players arent worth going to watch at a regular season game, much less pay hundreds per ticket for a playoff game. Phillies have players but honestly arent given the props they deserve. Utley is like Helton. They both are good but the teams they are in get overshadowed by.....
