I have noticed too, that these types of cats in particular have the worst breath vs any other type of cat. Even just as kittens (and I know cats don't have the best breath) they have ass breath! It is real real bad.

I used to have a cat just like this that did this a lot to my shirt if he laid on my chest and he got sleepy. Usually only cats like this do that from my experiences... I wonder if cats with similar color and fur patterns share the same traits.

Omg, he's suckling the fur ^_^ So cute! I had a kitten that was past weaning that was still suckling (and kneading) my arm--he did that only because he was separated from his mother early. But it was soooo cute, he didn't bite me or anything. ^-^

Does it? My cat Eenie stayed with her mom until her mother was batting her away and hissing. Now, every morning Eenie climbs on top of me and kneads her paws for 15 or 20 minutes until it starts to numb my skin and I push her off. Some cats are just... kneady.

@DebrisYat Not necessarily. I've seen plenty of cats that grew to adulthood with their moms and still make biscuits. Read a book on cat behavior. Incidentally, it's called "making biscuits," because you have to knead the dough for old-fashioned biscuits.

this kitten reminds me of a kitten i adopted one year ago..she was livivng under a gazebo at a homeless womens shelter,,(I wasnt staying there, just taking pca classes to work with some of the disabled there)...anyway the kitten was abandoned, and when I brought her home she curled right up on my stoch and tried to nurse on my breast area..LOL..It was so funny and adorable..

I know they do this when they are little when they are nursing, but I think they do it as they get older too if they feel something soft!! It's comforting to them to do this...maybe it reminds them of their moms when they feel something soft!!!! My husband's grandmother said cats were "making biscuits" when they did this!!!
