it's a great clip, and a great tv show, and yet i not understand how eddie was able to see where the ball landed when it was so far away, at 1:32. i recall no other episode featuring eddie's extraordinary eyesight. i think eddie should have had binocular glasses in front of his eyes when he said where the ball was.

If I remember, Fred won this round because Lily wanted to mix with country club society.

An equally perfect scene was Fred being scouted by Leo Durocher and taking batting practice off of Sandy Koufax. He put a ball through the scoreboard.

Gwynne sat in makeup before dawn every morning, three hours worth, to do this show. He loved the character and he loved working with Yvonne DeCarlo. Who wouldn't?
