I think it's because Stork was the one who found it, lived in it for a few years, and fixed it up (explained in a later episode called Origin). I hope that helps ^^

Well from what we see in the early opening credits the Condor crashed into the wastelands when Dark Ace defeated the original Storm Hawks,I'll bet Aerrow and Stork found the Condor and repaired her with the others ^^
