Deep Purple are the most underated band in the entire world of music..but they are easily the most influential band in heavy rock... no one could touch blackmore on guitar during the 70s and to this date no other guitarist has impressed me more than Ritchie ...Jon Lord ,,,Ian Paice just amazing players again no one could even come close to they're level of talent ....hopefully the music company twats will realise this before its to late

I always loved this song, it's so unlike Purple, if you changed the vocals it would be like listening to a completely different band compared to '69-'73. Then again, Gillan really shines on this song, both lyrically and vocal-wise. Unbelieveable track!

Powerful number from PS with memorable lyrics. Me thinks the legend that is Ian Gillan has been indulging in a bit of the old Wacky Baccy in this vid, ha ha. Interesting to hear the unedited take coming to a grinding halt. Cheers for posting.

I agree, not one of their best songs, but it made it into the Live setlist during the 'Perfect Strangers' tour, as it was Ritchie's favourite track off the album, and it icluded his favourite solo, along with 'Wasted Sunsets'.
