The western ones are nice but around here we get the eastern ones mostly, i think the eastern hognose's have a better color though they are more stubborn to accept pinkies.
Mine often folds the mouse in half to swallow like that. Worries me a little every time. But so far, no ill effects. :)
Do yours ever come "after" your hand (even with tweezers?) I wonder if mine has vision problems. ha! (Actually, I think my female prefers pinkies and ringfingers to real mice) ;)
I think they go for the hand only because it's larger than what you feedingit nd what they react to. I used to use 12" tongs and never had any problems. Now, and I'm speaking FT, just throw them in the cage and walk away. Some are super aggressive when they eat and would bite me in a second if I were to try and pick her up soon after feeding.
im going to make a new video soon..I have 3 more hognose (poss het for albino) and he is even bigger now...I also have ball pythons morphs, albino and anery boas het for snow and more Indigos to add to my videos....

I wouldnt say she was huge. How are you guessing its sizE? There is nothing to accurately compare it with in the video, :)
