  • This is how all athletes prepare to perform - dynamic movements building in intensity and specific to the sport - even tho this was shot in 09 many surfers are still 'warming up' with static stretches that will not enhance performance. Anyone who has worked with professional athletes know a bunch of movements like this that surfers can use to prepare their bodies before entering the water. Great video. HR

  • Great demo of how the great Mick Fanning prepares for his surf. Many of these exercises are straight from Surf Stronger 1 and 2. Once Mick gets going, notice how he moves quicker and quicker. He is actually getting up to the speeds he will need to move whilst competing. Also, take notice how he moves in every plane of motion. He also gets a nice rhythm going. I suspect he is visualizing himself out ripping.
