I watched these the day they were released in my home town both great funny movies , but Wacko , even by todays standards , one of the greatest comedies ever penned.

Ah the tasteless wacky 80's comedies. Never seen these, but I feel like I must. Malcolm McDowell as a rock star! I think I saw Ed Begley Jr. in there too. And George Kennedy with Mitchell himself Joe Don Baker, awesome! But I'm sure their lame flicks, so be it. Thanks for posting!

check the $2 bins in the future, they are sure to pop up, I saw these 2 movies and they weren't very funny in the 80's, goodness knows what they are like now.

They both worth seeing. Whacko is a very funny Halloween parody and Get crazy is kinda blues brothers like in the way they are trying to get a musical up and going, Whacko and Get crazy outclass Student Bodies and other musical of that type then apart from the blues brothers.
