What happen to Age of Empires? The most recent games simply dont have the same feeling! I dont realy know how to explain this happen in another RTS aswell but especealy hits me with Age of Empires that was my first strategy game and still one most top if not the most top rated of them all for me is simply magnefecient! I dont get how Ensemble didnt manage to revive the same spirit from the two first games!In fact I would compelty say dish the graphics just bring more civs units and spirit!

this is probably my favorite musical piece from the whole Age of Empires series; started playing about 12 or so years ago with the demo that came in the Windows 98 CD and got hooked right away, this track brings memories =)

All of this happened to me too but in a different way. So, when I had the "Age of Empires" game, I played it on Windows 98 and the music sounded ...well like music. Years later, I played it on Windows XP and it was like all of the music had been replaced. I tried it on Windows 98 again and I figured out that playing the game on xp and 98 have differences in soundtrack. That's pretty wierd. It was like Ensemble Studios was planning for the future or something cuz this game was 1997.
