  • Why is there no tim tarts now...

  • Comment removed

  • wow i didnt kno they had those in the 80s! they dont have them for the past few years now :'(

  • Nothing fresh about Tim Horton's Donuts. They are all baked in Brantford (by a separate company called Maidstone), and trucked in (frozen) to restaurants across Canada. False advertising. Terrible lineups.

  • @Friedtoenails No they don't you dumbass

  • @Friedtoenails You are actually completely wrong.

My father owns a Heating/Air Conditioning business, and I used to help him. He does work for 20+ Tim Hortons. Everytime I would go, we would see how they did everything. They have a baker come in very early in the morning, like 4-5 am, and begin baking all of the doughnuts, muffins, etc. (I believe they bake more during the day too.)

All of the baked goods do come frozen, but they are baked in house daily.

  • @Friedtoenails Sorry, I guess you are not completely wrong.

They do come frozen, but they are still fresh. Everything is frozen now a days.

  • How did this turn into a flame war over race?

  • obviously - in 1980's black (as well as Asians and guys from India) people didn't enjoy Tim Hortons =)

  • @twangeste

wtf ur such a douche thats bs

  • @twangeste did canada even have black people in the 80s?

  • @mwells219 no not in New Waterford Nova Scotia anyway

  • @mwells219 Good day

No we did not have Blacks here in the 1780's

But we DID in the 1880's

& in 1980's of course many...& they love their "Timmies" about as much as White ppl.

Asian, & many South Asian (E.Indian) immigrants (recent ones) won't drink "Timmies"..but their teenage children do.

  • @mwells219

No and it was a much better place.

  • I love the font they used for "timtarts". Bulky and friendly-looking...just like a Canadian.

0:02 - Come on in and let our resident Bruno Gerussi body-double serve you a tasty treat!

And just look at those loaded donut racks behind him! I can't remember a time when my local shops were so well-stocked. It's frustrating when you're sent out for some of those hexagonal homestyle biscuits or Everything Bagels and have to drive to several stores because they don't keep them stocked.

  • @landraiderares Most of their drive thrus are notorious for not having at least 40% of what your average Tim Horton's shop has.

  • @landraiderares As someone who used to work at a Timmies, it's not easy to keep them stocked. Bagels take something like 10 minutes, and it's up to the sandwich person to make them. People often order 1-2 dozen at a time, which pretty much screws over the sandwich person... Especially if they're busy. Same goes for donuts, muffins, and cookies. There's one baker and one oven. Try keeping up with the orders when you have 3 people in a row who all want a dozen muffins.

  • Funny how the placards on the shelves that tell you what donuts are what, havent changed...

  • Good Day,

Oh for the 1980 sized donuts again,..but maybe not! They were too big hehe.We were out being active to burn them off! Now they NEED to be small eh

    The TimTarts are the BEST!

Not cheap,..but a nice treat. Real berries eh

Just give me the 1980 PRICES and what was it 5% TAX back then!!

That would be 2 thumbs up EH!!

  • @RetroCaptain That depended on where you lived. We paid 10% tax home in Cape Breton then, even before the GST came about. Now,the combined taxes are 15%.

  • ew!

  • ha, awesome

  • i want some tim tarts!!!

  • man this commercials like over 20 years old

  • @girlygirl850 you mean 20 + 10?

  • @girlygirl850 More like 30 years old!
