That winter was so unfair for snow lovers of the Northwest, while you guys were getting several feet of snow, Spokane Washington and neighboring Cities barely got a foot overall.
while your statement is true, it doesnt seem like there is that much more then 12-14" of snow there, unless he is pushing a pile out of the way that we can't see. how much snow did they get?
@82k10 yaa most likely there is a shit ton more snow in front of him. im not sure how much they got-i bet they got hammered tho, but ive plowed snow in milwaukee for 4 years and when its deep and poss deep drifts ill cut it down and then push it all
i hear ya. been plowing in New England for 10+ years, i know all about deep snow. watching the videos of the guys plowing in DC, deleware, and maryland make me laugh every time. under equipped and under-experienced
lol, I'd guess he thought the plow was down. You can see the weight come off the front of the truck but it didn't stay on the ground because it wasn't put in FLOAT mode. Buddy just doesn't have much experience so it looks. And you would never make multiple passes, plowing in layers. Drop the blade in float & get plowin'. All you accomplish with multiple passes is to pack the snow on the surface, make a mess & waste time.
This guy likely never plowed before is all ... as you too can see :)
only other thing to add is when clearing a road/driveway/anything, you don't make a first pass with the plow straight blade. you angle it to one side and hammer down for the first pass, unless you have a v-plow, then v-it and hammer down.
stolen plow

82k10 2 years ago
@82k10 u cant push that much snow in one pass.. ull get no where. that way he only is plowing prob like 8 to 10 inches in a few passes
