The feel must be emo but the genre is completely different. Categorize by the sound of the instrument makes plus the vocals and the meaning of the song. And this band also plays different songs each single. For me maybe progressive rock, metal, harcore alike. Damn with the genre. love me butch is good overall.

Secondly, Love Me Butch is post-hardcore band for sure, and you need to look at the history of the genre back then, which not only consist of hardcore punk offshoot but also post-punk. And post-punk also happens to be the major influence for modern indie ROCK bands, so hv some respect.

Check out bands like At the Drive-in, Drive Like Jehu, and Fugazi. Then, U'll get the picture. Make some research
