  • Wow thank you !!! It worked for my dad's Samsung E250 ! :D Stupid Samsung make the worst & stuck battery covers... :@@ Faved ! :D

  • sweet this just helped me get the cover off my samsung gravity 2! I was about to try rigging up some kind of rubber finger condoms to maximize grip, but thankfully this worked.

  • Thanks so much!! I was at it for at least one hour trying to get it off, and I finally used google and youtube for help, and found this. I try it right away, and bam, it comes straight off!

  • You Know i creat youtube adress to THANKS YOU,Just bought a samsung SGH-E250i and couldnt take out the bloady cover for almost 6hrs, Finally i try by knife to open but it dosn't work finally after i try ure technics WORKS,Again THANKS A LOT for ure saving ma mobile,Wezir From Ethiopia.

  • @wezir74 Wow! I was just wondering the other day if this video was still helping people. Samsung seems to really like this design for their battery cases. Glad I could help :)

  • @CanOfMinus Thank you thank you

  • so like i can't get the battery out

  • @JennownzU So, like, elaborate more.

  • @CanOfMinus i fail at life

  • thank you so much.... this really helped! i wasn't able to remove the cover of my samsung star for a gd 40 mins... i was on the verge of breaking it... thnx again for the video!

  • im scared of trying to have Extra Brute force opening my battry compartment... is it safe for the first time?

  • The battery cover can take it's fair share of extra force. Video has been up for two years and nobody has reported that the steps followed broke thier cover/case.

  • NICE!!

  • OMG!!! Thank you so much for this video!!! I just purchased the Samsung Jack...and it is so slippery. I don't want to scratch it. I did this on my leg...lol!!! You so rock!

  • great vid thanks , i was so pissed you save my phone from being destroyed

  • wow dude. My coworkers think I'm a walking genious for figuring it out. They don't know I googled the clip on youtube. Thanks!!

  • Thanks bro! This worked! I was at the point where I was just about ready to smash my e250 out of frustration!

  • this is what i do with my samsung j700 but without the towel

  • Thanks! Also works with Samsung J700 =)

  • thanks a lots mate, just bought a samsung steel and couldnt take out the bloody cover for almost 4hrs,but after watching your technics,it worked nicely, thanks a lots

  • Just searched YouTube out of desperation trying to get my E250 back up, tried your technique, worked like a charm!

  • Ok like this worked perfectly when I did it like you suggested. I need to register my BlackJack II and was at a loss to get the model/ser that it insists at the samsung site has to come from the phone and not the box. Thanks loads, and you've got a new subscriber, in case you are putting up more great vids that do nothing but help. I like that:) Thanks again:)

  • woohoo! My first and only subscriber! Glad I can help. One thing I can say about the BJ's cover is that it never, ever came off on it's own :)

  • I just got my blackjack 2 and i accidentally put the battery the wrong way (the Samsung writing part is in the back when it was supposed to be in the front) and now it wont come out! Since its the wrong way and everything it wont even charge so i cant turn it on.

Does anyone have any advice so i can take out the battery?

  • I tried recreating your problem with my Blackjack (it's not a II) and it's physically impossible to even get the battery in upside down.

  • No, its not upside down. Its turned around.

  • And since your you have the blackjack 1, its battery is probably different so it wont go in if you turn it around or upside down.

  • I'm looking at images of the BJ2 battery, it's *very similar* to the BJ1 in that they both have notches in them so they can be easily put in the phone bay the correct way and nearly impossible the wrong way so it looks like you had to shove the battery in there with great force to even get it to stay. I would try a small flat head screw driver and see if you can wedge it out.

  • Thanks:)

  • Have you tried just turning it over and smacking hell out of it to make the battery come out? I figure you have, but didn't see it as a suggestion, either b/c everyone figures you have, but if you haven't no harm in tryin that:)

  • awesome - thanks. I was almost ready to take a screwdriver to the dang thing...

  • wow i've been trying for like 30 mins, and this only took 2 seconds, thanks!

  • Thank you SO MUCH. Had been trying for 90 mins with no success. Genius use of the towel!!

  • Brilliant!

  • You're doing every Blackjack user a service here!! Mine froze this weekend and the only way I could fix it was to switch out the battery. My phone is brand new so I still hadn't figured this out.

Why the F are these things so hard to take off???

Somebody emailed me the link to your video on a forum, but it was after I FINALLY got the cover off...used a very similar method though.

  • Thanks man. Totally kicks ass. Much appreciated.

  • Thanks for the video. The tip you gave me was very insightful. I thought I was going to break the damn thing.

  • LOL . nice trick:DD

How could u do it? XD :DDD

    i can switch on/off so i go to make a movie. :P

  • Great tip. Thanks!

  • Thank You so much. I thought i had to get the God of War to get this thing off...

  • I wanted to put in the extended life battery, couldn't figure out how the hell to open the back of my Blackjack - This worked GREAT, thanks!!!
