The lousy ATC always gives me wrong directions!!!! IT MAKES ME GO AWAY FROM THE AIRPORT!!! So anyway wats the appr hold button? Once i press it I cant turn my plane and it doesnt go lower. help!
As long as u have the appr hold button on and u set ur NAV1 frequency according to ur assigned approach along with ur course button to the correct course, it should be fine. Always helps to go to the map just before approach and select the airport u are approaching to find these details in preparation for landing.
There's a few different ways. Before landing u have to use the autopilot and ensure nav1 is set correctly to ur assigned approach. Just ensure ur flight level, speed, and heading is correct before the approach.
On approach, depending on the weight of the aircraft (pax and fuel) and weather conditions, adjust speed accordingly (aim for around 180kt - 170kt), maintain the pitch of the aircraft so that it's between level and the first line on the artificial horizon on ur flight panel, and adjust the throttle accordingly so when the aircraft touches down, the speed is around 160kt - 150kt.
where u got the plane?fsx or fs2004?
