Also, in the Metro, there are no folders what so ever. Why say you love Metro then complain that it doesn't have folders?

I think that wp7 is not a biggie on gaming unlike the iPhone is thousands of apps. The call and texting are actually VERY ALIKE. Multitasking? iPhone wins hands down. Browser? About the same, flaws on both. Wp7 can't scroll to the top of the webpage but it is more fluid than the iPhone. Social networking? Well, getting to the network is easier on the wp7 but on the iPhone you have to be fussy and click a lot of things. I personally like wp7 more but that's because I'm too used to the iPhone use

I think saying one device wins over the other (regarding things like scrolling) isn't right for this review but rather personal choice. I actually like the side scrolling of the iOS and the fact that I can see my phone status lets me better manage my phone use. It's not obtrusive nor does it's display take anything away from the phone. considering that you're big on minimising clicks, shouldn't you appreciate the fact that you wont have to click the top part of the phone to to check your status?

Personally Iphone 4 for me because if you hold one that's it you feel the solidness and shark week like raw power . A small comment on the phone call handling on WP7. Being a WP7 developer myself, I can tell you right now that it's the developer's job to manage incoming calls and other interruptions in order to provide a seamless experience for your game/app (it's called tombstoning). Microsoft provides this functionality through the API but some people just fail to use it which results in losing your game progress.

One thing I would say from the video is you do point that there are a few features missing on WP but it is only version 1.0 and when you compare that with the best smartphone OS (iOS) with 3 years lead it is a bit unfair. Also I did not like the WP7 UI when they introduced it, but after using it for the last 6 weeks, it too grew on me and I feel it is the best UI.

You obviously know nothing about Froyo's integrated multi taking capabilities which allows apps to run in the background without consuming too much memory or battery life. With a high end Android device, it will run like a charm with plenty of apps and games running in the back. Each platform is known for something and Android is highly touted for it's innovative multi tasking capabilities.

Great review. Really the most in depth look at WP7 I have seen yet. But I have to say that WP7 just looks messy rather than simple. There are few onscreen controls leaving you to just aimlessly swipe and tap around until you figure out what does what. Also, instead of the structure of buttons, icons and menus on the iPhone all well organized and well designed, WP7 just seems to have random text blobs floating around the screen at all different sizes, sometimes not completely fitting on screen.

I see WP7 and iOS as very simplistic and just easy to use while Android is better suited for modders/hackers since it is so heavily customizable which in turn makes it harder for the average consumer to use.

Multitasking has been well integrated on the Android platform only after the 2.2 Froyo update. It utilizes memory much better than in previous versions giving both of my Android devices better battery life and leaving me with no need for a task killer.
