When 70,000 protesters marched through Seattle back before we went into Baghad, nearly every single older man there was an anti-war veteran. At that sdame time, several miles away, there were about 12 drunken vets waving pro-war signs on a freeway overpass. I have two former marines in my family, and over 10 friends and family members in the army, navy, and air force. I intend to go in as an officer, after college. I have visited four U.S. military bases, two of which were USMC.
