  • Im generally not a fan of rap but between Lindsey playing in the background and Eppics lyrics I LOVE this song... It kind of sticks in my mind and I cant complain too much about that.

  • :-0 jaw dropping good! This little lady and her music has restored my faith in modern music. Thank you for this.

  • Wonderful cinematography & editing...

    Great job, you guys! :)

  • Rap is crap but Lindsey have Talen...

  • Tell your GREAT FRIEND he is extremely talented at what he does just like you are at what you do!Both of you together is just like a perfect harmony...I love it!

  • See people need to make stuff like THIS. Mix what was always thought couldnt be mixed. I LOVE IT

  • faith in modern music restored

  • @lindesystomp Can you please sing something ? - Not a very hard song...I will just hear how you sing

  • @Fl0tzw3g Watch the lord of the rings medley, thats her singing at the end!

  • @Fl0tzw3g She sings in "Lord of the Rings Medley". You can find it on her page.

  • love the rock beat to this. you guys should do more together

  • An instrumental version of this song would be awesome. :]

  • Nice song.

  • like rap for the first time =O

  • This is fucking genius. The compelling sounds erected from her violin and his deep, well-timed and cleverly-rhymed vocals are an incredible and powerful mix. "By no means impervious..I'm...by no means impervious..!" Love it. I'm blown away.

  • Mike Shinoda?!.......Oh! Wait! Well hello!

  • loving the song, the lyrics and the Violin ............... gunna be replaying this one alot!!!!

  • Lyrics remind me a lot of Aesop Rock, very intelligent

  • I normally extremely dislike rap. But the lyrics make sense, he's actually pretty good, and the music is so great! I'll have to check out Eppic now.

  • Now this is the music that deserves to be on our charts! amazing and i love that its something different!! i love it!!!! well to be honest, i dont dislike anything lindsey does!!

  • number 68 on singer/songwriters chart!!

  • Phenominal.

  • Great music! But English is not my mother tongue, and I can hardly understand the lyrics. Tried to find it but failed. Can someone help me where can I find the lyrics? Maybe it could be added to the video description.

  • @MyTrueNameIsStorm mother tongue =))))) r u trolling ? =)))))

  • @EricKellermanD I dont think so... People can know many thing from other languages, but not everything.

  • @EricKellermanD No. I just try to speak/write with more care than people who can't write out "are you", or use punctuation and capitalization.

  • @MyTrueNameIsStorm I know no language other than English but I can understand very few of the lyrics.I would help if I could but I am incapable lol god luck though.

  • @MyTrueNameIsStorm Ok, so I am not usually a rap fan but this song was excellent!

As such, I made a feeble attempt at decrypting the lyrics. It is certainly missing some phrases and some of the lyrics may be incorrect, but it is close to what I hear him say anyways. Sadly the comments are too short for the whole song, so I'll send you a private message with them. Hope they help

  • Lyrics ? :P

  • do a co op with destorm and make a video with freddiew

    "Ideas"

  • NOW THIS IS TRUE GRIT!!!

  • just one word...AWESOME!!!!

  • a really cool combination i like it

  • Is there somewhere i can find the lyrics for this online?

  • This kinda reminds me of nuthing but stringz. Rap and violin combined!

  • Amazing

  • Great stuff, is there any way to get the lyrics can't seem to find them using Google?

  • @beattyml1 Women? I'm pretty sure you're talking about the violin Goddess

  • @lololol143 ??? I said nothing about women.

  • @beattyml1 I was talking about Lindsey

I'm pretty sure that's the woman you were talkin' about

  • @lololol143

You're a fucking moron. Go re-read @beattyml1 's comment and you'll see it was about lyrics jackass, not lindsey. reeree

  • @slmallard88 I think he was trying to reply to "Thedaddychad83"'s comment which was right beneath Bearryml1's comment. Hopefully just a misunderstanding and a mis-click, Still kind of a stupid error, but meh.

  • @Eruedraith19 Ahhhh I see now...Good point.

  • this woman is amazing

  • Im not one for rap, but this got onto my "Lindsey Stirling" playlist. It was really well played, and my ears did not bleed so thats a plus.

  • You really should stop talking about rap. You have absolutely no ideea what rap is, you just think you do because you heard some songs from the lowest scum of this earth a.k.a. Lil' Wayne or Kanye West. Try listening to Tupac - Dear momma, Brenda's got a baby, Do for love, and so on or at least Army of the Pharaohs - Seven, Ripped to shreds, Dead shall rise, Cooking keys, Suicide girl...That's the real rap. On topic: awesome song and Lindsey Stirling is a goddess with that violin.Keep up!!

  • You should totally put the lyrics in the description

either that, or someone should send me the lyrics!

  • yeah this guys kinda reminds me of fort minor

    great mix of genres

  • i don't know what it is, but the only rap songs that I've ever actually liked all have a violin, or an instrument like that, in it.

ex/ Fort Minor - Remember The Name

  • More meaningful lyrics than trying to get to u n that monkey

  • Wow. Personally, I'm not much into rap. But this is fantastic. Who knew there were rappers with intelligent lyrics?

  • @KrazyyNess perhaps you haven't ventured beyond the garbage that is main stream hip hop. there are quite a lot of intelligent rap artists out there, however it doesn't sell to the masses like rapping about hoes and "dollas". sad really

  • @KrazyyNess if you look up fort minor alot of his stuff is pretty intelligent, as long as you can forgive the songs he is just doing for fun

  • @KrazyyNess There are a shit tonne of good rappers. Unless you're into something it's most likely you'll miss out on what is actually good.

  • @KrazyyNess You have tons of rappers that speak with intelligence, you just gotta look in the right places. And explore outside the box.

  • @KrazyyNess

    I knew, there are tousands!

Dead Prez, Atmosphere, Lowkey, Immortal Technique, Vinnie Paz, just to name some.

I understand your opinion about rap tough but that's because only few of the good ones get big or/and into charts...

  • @KrazyyNess Actually I was rather against the rap genre till I looked deeper into less mainstream devoted songs and found intellectual lyrics in alot of places. Even from the same artists that make the "Bitches and money" kind of songs. I suggest you keep looking into it as I've added some rap into my everyday music enjoyables! :D

  • @KrazyyNess Tupac, Immortal Technique, Nas before he switched to mainstream, mike shinoda, jedi mind tricks and LOTS of underground artists, only reason we don't "know" that there are rappers with intelligent lyrics is because they don't get played on the radio.

  • @KrazyyNess I know this. Its a German Rapper. "F.R." is his name. Just listen to him and read the Translations..

  • @KrazyyNess learn german ----> hear kollegah

  • @KrazyyNess Honey, step away from the radio. I understand - I have to from time to time myself.

There are indeed thousands of great rappers who are *gasp* intellectuals. Common is my personal favorite. More great examples are Mos Def, Lauren Hill, Pharrell before he left NERD. Even the now-mainstream rappers have truly thought-provoking songs that just never get aired. All I can tell you is that you have to look for them.

  • @smartchikchick That is a good message. Alot of the mainstream rappers work for the Illuminati which controls them. At a time they were all thoughtful rappers that wanted to just make music and some intelligent music, but I find it sad that the Illuminati is just controlling them.

  • @KrazyyNess Are some good rappers around, sadly the good ones aren't very well known.

  • @KrazyyNess lowkey, immortal technique, vinnie paz, there you go ;)

  • @KrazyyNess Mike Shinoda also raps intelligently. lol just saying :)

  • @KrazyyNess rappers with intelligent lyrics? lol look past lil wayne and theyre everywhere. Honors English is the next revolution in rap

  • @KrazyyNess many of eminems songs have intelligent lyrics.

  • I don't like rap...at all...but this is really really good. Like, I'm going to buy this song and listen to it every day good.

  • She's amazing in everything she does!

  • @DeonFhuuuck Step 1 almost done

  • Where can i get the lyrics ?

  • @biohazardvoice no, no, no, if you want to feed a troll you may want to use cabbage, they eat his brain while the beast is eating peoples esteem- well trying to eat peoples esteem at least.

  • Screw this. Leave rap to the black people.

  • @Isbith

Hey guys, look at me, I'm feeding a troll.

  • @AmazingMrMe123 give it carrots, maybe it will grow.

  • @biohazardvoice

I always figured trolls ate only raw flesh, and pizza hot pockets. It may grow into forever alone?

  • Such an amazing combination. Two of my favorite things: rap, and classical instruments, put together so beautifully.

  • Euhagh I cant listen to this one. The violin is amazing as always, but that guy singing.. or, talking in rhythm... euagh.

  • omg!!!!!! this is sooo fucking amazing, she is my hero!!!!!

  • I thought this person was destrom

  • Really like this. Well put together, sounds great.

  • anyone know where i can find the lyrics for this song?

  • maybe i'm wrong, but i think that violin should be just a bit louder at the moments of singing... still, love it!

  • Epic guitar solo? Noooo VIOLIN SOLO ftw!!!!! 2:47

  • I usually detest rap. But this was actually really good, because with his way of singing and her epic violin skills combined, this song turned out to be kind of.. beautiful.

  • Love it

    That's all.

  • Good entertainment is so underestimated in nowaday society!

  • karalhoooooo musica de se fuder

  • @BloodFetishist666 agreed

  • Uneducated people rapping about pointless things are a dime a dozen. This man, an intellectual, rapping about things that have meaning, is a true gem. Coupled with the amazing Miss Stirling, this is easily one of the greatest songs ever composed.

  • @BloodFetishist666 100% agreed :)

  • @BloodFetishist666 Amen to that! I agree 110%

  • @BloodFetishist666 what is your opinion when ur label is what it is. stop judgiing. regardless of you giving respect. bless up. big up this track.

  • @BloodFetishist666 actually all rappers in all forms are a dime a dozen. Find me a lyric that is original these days.

  • @BloodFetishist666 search up George Watsky, you will not be disappointed.

  • I like this guy do more videos with him

  • Alot of people badmouth rap because all they're exposed to is the BS like Lil Wayne and Rick Ross and their disgusting lyrics. I love rap though, real rap, Del the Funky Homosapien, Common, and now this guy!

  • Beautiful, thank you very much for the smile!

  • my mind be blow. pKCSH!!!!!

  • Hey coolios, I didn't know you two did a collab ^_^

  • Liked this video..

    Played the liked playlist..

    Forgot that i've liked it..

Almost hit the like button again for the fifth time..

Yeah, brain.. I know you like it very much.

  • Debo confesar que es mi nueva obsesión esta chica es increíble con los pies y el violín y ahora se suma la música rap no puedo esperar para ver que sigue!!!

  • Lindsey Stirling is the only person who can play a violin to rap music and sound good at the same time.

  • Awesome duet

  • Perfektne :) moc sa mi to paci :)

  • MUY BUENO

  • Great. Amazing.

  • It's a travesty of the greatest kind for this video to have such a pitiful amount of views..

  • I Love the mash up of genres in this song, and Lindsey is soo talented as always! I want her for my birthday... dressed as link....

  • I hate rap...'correction', I hatED rap ! love ya lindsey <3

  • Amazing both of you guys :)

both very talented, different in a good way, and can find the real balance of music. <3

  • AHA.

    "By no means Eppic."

    Get it?

  • Don't like.

Lindsey you must do not follow a mode =/

  • @nishilive I think it's good. All she did was accompany his music. Nothing wrong with that.

  • @illuvcreed wow that's cool!

  • FILL IN THE GAPS, please!!! I really wanna know what the song is about :)))

  • Now, now, now would you prefer me philosophical or preferably versatile?

Or (deprived of the gas before metaphors compiled)?

  • this is AMAZING!!!!!

  • .. I've watched all her videos..

.. I've rewatched all her videos..

.. I am rewatching all her videos..

.. I will always rewatch all her videos..

  • @DeonFhuuuck

    Done

    Done

    Done

    and I Will =)

  • @DeonFhuuuck her video's are like drugs XD [in the good way...make you feel good...yea...]

  • @DeonFhuuuck She obviously is Sterlling machine of art and happines.. :D

  • Beasted!

  • 2 epic voices that blend perfectly.

  • Lindsey Stirling:

    Gorgeous without being slutty.

    Smart.

Genuinely talented, rather than autotuned. (Can you even autotune a violin???)

Anyone else here have her on the list of people who inspire them on Facebook?

  • @TheMusicalPsycho it wouldn't be autotune persay but you could run the violin through fxs to get an edited effect

  • Amazing lindsey just amazing!!

  • OMG!!

    I freakin' love this

    Linsey-I Love You

    Eppic` awsum rap

  • Jason Epps went to my highschool :)

    Anyways, this is fantastic!

  • Isn't it weird to think about the fact that youtube artists like this are much better than aloooot of the official artists out there

  • @KiXaddicted

No it is not weird at all to think that "audience made artists" are better than "marketed ones"!

F***ing majors prefer to market a few artists like gay Bieber or Gaga, of course it's easier and brings more cash than having a huge constalation of "small artists".

Evenmore majors are overtaking our governments with their lobbying on ACTA, HADOPI and other liberty killing acts !

  • At first i tought this was DeStorm :D

  • @marco1991pl You aint the only one xD

  • She needs to be recomended to destorm XD

  • My new favourite song

  • What is there to dislike!?

  • @BadDuckyDoneGood Pssh, those are just bitter/jealous people xD

  • At first I wasn't sure if I'd like this too much (I love everything Lindsey does),

but I loved it after only seconds. I'm not a huge fan of rap, but wow, this is very good <3

  • And yet she only has this many views...

  • This is Eppic ;) laaawl

  • kinda has an evanescence feel

  • @AndrewExperience not really....but i like how you think

  • Freakin' amazing violin solo that was way better than a guitar solo.

  • sooo cool

  • this is epic

  • great sound!

  • Not gonna lie, the violin piece she played on this song was probably the best one for me. Even though it wasn't one of her songs it was still pretty freakin' awesome. And I'm glad the rap wasn't the typical type of rapping nowadays, it was actually REALLY good. Both of them were really good.

  • @VoidFusionVG ditto to the rap part

sad how that filthy kind of 'rap' is what has ended up being mainstream.. seems mainstream ruins everything a lot of times.. and people wonder why there are hipsters..

  • @VoidFusionVG To the Point of what i was thinkin!

  • 2 BIG Talents

  • Kind of reminds me of Flobots' style. Really solid rapping, gonna have to check this guy out. Of course, Lindsey is excellent as always (would you really expect different). Awesome piece of music. This shows you can mix styles of music, even if they seem unlikely to work, as long as you have skilled musicians ;).

  • I by no means am pervy yes.

  • AWSOME!

  • great rhythm but its really odd... just instrumental version would be great....

  • god this is beautiful, inspiring, and eppic.

  • I forgot to add, this guy should keep this style. he doesnt have to have clean lyrics, as long as they are acctually about something meanigful

  • The reason that I like this rap is because he isn't using the type of lyrics most rappers use. I have respect for this guy.

  • Agree, AWESOME!!!

  • AWESOME!!! Like other lindsey vids.

    but lyrics would be great

  • awesome!!!

  • they should stop showing her lips. it's too tempting.

  • HOLLYYY SHIT GODNESS !
