I have this pedal and I'm really happy with it, there's just one slight thing. When I want to play like 10 seconds with the high octave pitch, it sounds a little false, is this due to the effect, due to my amp or my guitar?

There are a lot of variables. Single coil vs. Humbucker. quality of pickup. Active vs. passive. Construction of guitar (bolt on, set, neck thru). wood type. hollow body vs. solid.

Best bet is to try the pedal with the guitar you own.

It retailed for $699 back in the day. also.... def good enough to record with. I use Cockos Reaper to record through a behringer pre-amp. Do yourself a favor... spend the extra money for a good sound card also if your serious about recording =]

I dont have time to tweek and mess around to get the sound i want. I used 2 look up patches online to sound like certain artists n input them but with the me-25 all i find is downloads! If it sounds good then try your amp with all EQ knobs set to 12:00. If it sounds bad it might be your amp. Try using the neck PU for solo and bridge for rhythms. Hope this helps.

I was willing to spend $400 on an Effects and this one clearly takes the cake. I was close to chooseing Roland Cube amp, but this fits me better.

Brilliant demo! How'd you get the last effect?

Only effect used was Preamp on #10 "Ultra Metal". Then set the Parameter knobs as such: Drive - 75, Tone - 80, Volume - 45. If you have a larger amp such as a half stack or 100W 2x12.... try to keep the pedal volume around 40 - 45 for all your saved banks. You want the amp to do its job of creating volume... not the pedal otherwise it gets kinda muddy.
