Jesus says that the Spirit's ministry is primarily to glorify Him (john 16:14). the mark of the Holy Spirit, according to Jesus is that we will bear witness to Jesus (john 15:27).

paul was "anointed" w/ the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel (2 cor. 2:21-22, read in context of the whole book). the Spirit enables us to live a holy life (rom. 8:1-11; gal. 5:16-6:10). the Spirit seals the elect as sons (eph. 1:13; 4:30). we are to pray for the Spirit's power in our lives, which paul says is to "strengthen us inwardly, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith" (see eph. 3:14-21). the Spirit fills us to worship (eph. 5:18-21) & to endure the devil (6:10-20). c'mon guys!

@itsnolongeri I agree, I have some real questions about Bonnke's theology on sin and also how sacrifice relates to salvation, also penal substitution. I wish I knew how he would say one is saved

Why do people call Jerusalem a holy city when Revelations 11:8 calls it spiritually Sodom and Egypt? The Lord Jesus says about Jerusalem in Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you.how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

Both scriptures don't say there is anything Holy about Jerusalem. I won't be happy if Jesus described me that way.

Jerusalem is called the city because thats where the Temple was built and cause it's Israel's capital
