I find it's MUCH quicker and easier to jump straight into a VS with duel Gatlings, let him roll and strafe out of the way, spin round and shoot the fuck out of his tail. The duel gatlins take off health faster and is much less easy to miss than with Rockets. In a vs, you can pretty much ignore the smaller ones, and just hover above them in they get to close for comfort

This thing killed me bout 5-7 times before I started using the vital suit, ran for the rocket launcher, killed the little cry-baby bastards while grabbing all thermal I could. THEN I attacked the big boss, try to grab all the thermal you can, cause you'll need it, and pay attention to your ammo cause you'll need to reload that rocket launcher ASAP. once it runs out though stick to the dual gattling guns.

@DarkAceMaster hp is the green bar, Thermal energy is constantly depleting, and when you lose health the thermal energy depletes faster and regenerates health, but if you run out of thermal energy you cant recover and health starts to drop constantly

(I think you mean 512 mb ram) so yea you will definitely want to upgrade. Get at least an invidia 8 series for dx10 and upgrade your ram to at least 2gb. Otherwise, you can still play the game but it would be that less enjoyable, since a huge attraction of this game is it's ability to run smooth even with insanely beautiful graphics.

You have obviously never played this game on extreme. He wouldnt have been in a VS for 10 consecutive seconds without being booted out, his thermal energy was near 0 the entire time.

Chill man...besides his T-ENG was too low. You need at least about 1000 thermal energy units in order to stay in a VS Unit for a decent amount of time in Extreme Mode.

STEAM let's you view the manual off...Adobe Reader I believe. Just right click the game on your games list, select "Properties", and click "View Manual". The T-ENG keeps Wayne (main character) alive by fueling his Harmonizer, a deviced given by Wayne's father on his arm to 1) heal wounds, and 2) activate via attachment the true power of the Wayne's father's PTX-40A VS Unit. Without T-ENG, the Harmonizer will painfully take up Wayne's remaining energy, thereby killing him. Hope I didn't ruin it.

Well i have only beaten this boss on easy but it was cool how i got the last punch in before he died. most people dont know but you can grapple any akrid or V.S. and shoot the hell out of it haha thts how i beat this boss it works online to and he does a pimp backflip off haha. But yea its fun plus makes u look cool if u beat a V.S. online haha. P.S. to kill an akrid grapple the thermal energy locations on their body and shoot those.
