also test moisture in subfloor, floorcovering and Rh of the room to be fitted in they must match or you will get a failed floor. also letting the boards acclimatise could take weeks or months not just days you MUST test prior to fitting
They didn't show the blind nailer because the don't know how to use it. The biggest tools in this whole video were them. Plus anyone who KNOWS how to lay hardwood knows that you dry lay six or more rows to make sure the end seams look OK.

sorry, also dont use tar paper as an underlayment. use the same material but without the tar in it. youll smell that later on.
