  • some sweet info here

  • you can see the cameraman in the background at 3:22!

  • Deutsche Qualitätswaffen-produktion nur zum Hobby :D

Deine "Stein"schleudern sind der hammer !

  • You are a dangerious man

  • This is maybe one of my most favorite ones - it looks like it protects your hand and also can be relatively fast with practice.

  • Now in every Russian McStalin happy meal!

  • if you had neo magnets under each ball it would make reloading a LOT easier

  • Jörg, du bist der beste!

  • this is so fkn cool

  • what you should have done is while its spining it shoots the bbs its self it might take something on how to make it to where it does that but im sure you can figure it out

  • @guitarverez see his gatling gun?

  • Do you have any idea what kind of velocity the projectiles are achieving?

  • body builder mutch??

  • you are incredible when I try to make a sling shot it's just a regular crap one but it shoots paper and it goes about 1000cm. But I would like to see a huge video about how far they go like 10,000cm that would be awesome

  • Mr. Sprave, why don't you put a trigger on the handle that would push two pieces of metal out just far enough to lock the weapon from rotating when you get ready to pull the ammo pouch back to shoot? It was just a thought sir. I enjoy your videos!

  • Sweet! That way you can always have a loaded slingshot ready for action. I like this very much sir!

  • sweet dude! how much for one?

  • I wonder if this could be faster than having a kind of ammo-dispensing "quiver" in the draw hand

  • GREAT DESIGN! Simple, and easy to operate and fabricate... I'm studing to be a product designer, I hope to be that good in a couple (Of hundreds... T_T) of years! keep it up!!

  • One problem I see is on the rod stands. They need an inner ring to stabilize otherwise they will bend in or outward.

  • cool videos dude, keep up the good work

  • hey your video about the phoenix design rocked but i couldnt do it

  • where can I get something like this?

  • I kind of wish you were interested in money cause I would buy so many of these!!

btw what do you do for a living? (if I'm not being too nosey)

  • Brilliant!

  • i like it that would be awesome for war. lolz

how much time and money did it take to build it plz respond this is really interesting.

  • i like it that would be awesome for war. lolz

  • nice! will you make a ballista? :)

  • You are like the crazy awesome uncle that every kid wants XD

  • Im a fan do you sell your sling shots?

  • Way to go, Jorg. Though I'm not into slingshots, but I think you're so creative for doing all of this. It should be very inspiring for anyone interested in any craft to see someone take an interest and develop it as well and cheerfully as you do. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • this is just a suggestion but where you put the balls you could put magnets so it would be easier to load while standing up. this is a great idea ive seen you other videos and your obviously intelligent

  • You are a legend, whats funny is you look so menacing but are probably the nicest guy in the world.. still id hate to get on your bad side.. great videos

  • Much props for this homemade weapon! As for u not caring about money, I feel you, but if not for the money, do it for all the guys who would kill for one of these! Then just send me all the profits you made ; ). lol - JC

  • You are awesome. If you existed a few hundred years ago you would be a War Lord. hahahaha. keep up the good work . :D

  • Does it really take so long to reload a regular slingshot? I would think if you have the projectiles ready, the loading can be done in the same motion as the drawing of the rubber. Therefore, this invention, while very cute, shouldn't be any faster than a regular slingshot. Is this true?

  • you must really hate bunnies

  • sorry if i dont know much about this but my hobby isnt exactly slingshots buti do respect your work greatly here

  • also may i ask what those *bullets are* ..are they ball bearings?

  • to describe him hes a gentle giant with an arsenal of slingshots ....we love you joerg!!!!!

  • Great design.Congratulations.

  • fun idea for the second version. you should try having those tubes spring loaded kind of like a magazine. then maybe use a magnet or some other means to keep the balls in place once they come to the top of the tube. the only next step is to find a way to get the bands to come back to the top of the tube :P

  • dude your using some giant slugs i use like maybe a quarter of those

  • Question/suggestion for this slingshot. Have you ever thought about adding magnets to the ends, where the steel shots sit, so that you could reload it in the field without having to put it down? Simply stick the steel shot on the ends AND pull the straps over them with one hand, while you're still holding it by the handle with the other. Does that make sense? If you had a pouch or pocket full of shot, you could reload many times and never have to leave your position. Just a thought. Nice work!

  • You are the coolest dude ever!

  • Wow! What a great idea!!! Awesome workmanship! Thanks for sharing!

  • I swear to god, you are one of the coolest people ever, period. Cheers to you and your brilliance.

  • suprisingly soothing voice for a wepon obsessed german

  • I would buy this if it was in a shop, so awesome :D

  • my friend didnt believe that slingshots can be a serious weapon ... so i showed him some of you videos and now he knows that they are so thank you ^_^

  • are you german ? because you have an accent ^^

  • Haha with those glasses you look like a terminator (:

  • watched alot of ur vids tonight and i can see u realy enjoy making and using slingshots, ive enjoyed watching them so much i am going to buy myself 1 :)

  • slingshot roulette next!

  • hi i am curious because im about to buy some bullets for my sling shot could you maybe tell me how many mm is a 60cal ball and were to buy thanks

  • Kool Man...

  • where did you get the ammo

  • can you make a tutorial.

  • That is so awesome. Why has no one thought of this before?

  • add magnets to where balls are put to load and they stay by them self for loading while moving :)

  • Nice accent btw :D

  • Pretty cool. Didn't take as long to load as I thought it would.

  • you remind me of gunther from DEUS EX....

  • realoding cover me!

  • whaaaa........? (the only thing I was able to say the moment I saw this art)

  • This is great--This guy is creative!

  • Oh yeah, and put a drum with multiple "grabbers" at the back end. That way, each slingshot on the front ring can be pre-loaded on a corresponding grabber on the rear drum. Viola, a six-shooter slingshot rifle.

  • Put that bad boy on the end of your slingshot rifle. Maybe it would make for faster followup shots.

  • Just thought of this, put high powered magnets inside the metal tubing where the ball sits so it can't fall off even if the rubber fails, effectively saving your ammo >:D

  • lol i bet your garden is toxic with all those plump ball everywhere

  • How did you attach the bands to those pouches?

  • I'm so glad someone linked me one of your videos! Now subscribed and watched a handful or so, all your creations are awesome!

  • @nebulas100 Yes.

  • @JoergSprave hey buddy you are very smart and cleaver in your designs, i wish i could learn how to make my own slingshots. much respect from New york.

  • @JoergSprave

    Hello :)

I just started to follow you on your blog, can you give me your e-mail adress because I want to write you.

    Thanks

  • What the.. I dont even...

  • How much did it cost tpo construct the slingshot?

  • all you need is some western music to go along with that slingshot xD

  • Id be scared to rob him

  • That has to be the coolest thing I have seen in a long time :)

  • I have watched and commented on this video already but have to say again. This is the coolest slingshot idea of them all. Perfect!! It's better than the single shot slingshot. It's the same thing as a single shot slingshot accuracy for hunting and with 5 more shots to silently continue to hunt multiple small game animals to feed the whole tribe. Brilliant!!!

  • Germans are awesome =D

  • Have you ever hurt your self during the making of these amazing slingshots? Just curious as I know I would!

  • @WoozyMrDrew Sure, lots of little accidents.

  • looks like lot's of fun

  • Why don't you patent them and sell them? This is a multi-million dollar product!

  • @callscott1 I don't care for money, I just don't want to loose the coolest hobby on the planet.

  • @JoergSprave Sounds good! Keep up the great work! I just found your videos a few days ago. I ocean fish off the shore. About 3 months ago I had the idea that I want to make a Slingshot to shoot my hook and wieght out instead of casting it. I went to the store to look at regular slingshots but the y bars on the slingshots are to short and close together the hook and weight might hit the bars. I'm going to try and make one any ideas?

  • @JoergSprave Legend, mate, legend

  • @JoergSprave

You know, you COULD sign up for a youtube partnership?

You'll earn money from having people watch your videos, and you don't have to sell them OR give away info on how they're made?

  • @NeverEatYell0wSn0w I tried that a couple of times, they declined. "Not family friendly" enough, whatever that means.

  • @JoergSprave you should show them "family friendly" with that in your hand. jkjk

  • @JoergSprave are you serious? ive seen guys shooting flamethrowers getting youtube partnerships.

  • @JoergSprave and yet FPSrussia gets accepted.......

  • @JoergSprave Paint a picture of Hello Kitty or Justin Bieber on the handle. Advertise it as "fun for the whole family"

  • @JoergSprave How'd FPSRussia get a youtube partnership then? That sucks... :l

    Epic slingshot dude.

  • @JoergSprave Bullshit, this is the best thing on the internet. Id pay to see this

  • @JoergSprave

So FPSRussia has a partnership with his videos about ridiculous guns, yet a cool channel about making badass slingshots gets rejected? Fuck youtube.

  • @JoergSprave

wait they are telling you that Fpsrussia, Nutnfancy, hickok45 and scootch00 are family friendly But not you

  • @JoergSprave they give people that play paintball channels why not sling shots?

  • @JoergSprave that seems strange. if FPSrussia can get a partnership why not you? love your vids tho, subscribed :P

  • @JoergSprave damn youtube ...

  • @JoergSprave how can they say that fps russia fires real guns and im pritty sure hes a partner you dont swear or anything either.

  • @stefan5007 plus jorg's accent isnt fake! unlike fpsrussia

  • @JoergSprave

seltsam...warum ist dann "FPSRussia" Partner?! o0

  • @JoergSprave what! who do they think they are! ur the best and rwj and fps are way less family friendly. you have no profanity its barley violent and your incredibly respectful in your comments

  • @JoergSprave WTF?! Are you serious?! That's some bullshit 'cause FPSRussia with his guns and knife, and blowing shit up is not exactly family friendly, and yet he is a partner...

  • @YoWhatUpMike Think about it, mr american. Most guns in fpsrussia are not even legal in usa, those which are cant be bought legally by kids (which makes it an legal issue not a bad influence/publicity issue). In my country (and many others) you cant buy anything but hunting rifles and thats if you have a hunting license etc (also very unattainable for kids). Slingshot on the other hand can be selfmade and are quite dangerous. This is no exhibition like fpsrussia, this is more inspiring.

  • @martjalartistvannabe actually ever gun on FPSrussia is legal in the USA. He's american, the whole russia thing is a sham.

  • @DFTheNightmare Legal or not, they are still not obtainable for 12 year old with poor judgment.

  • @JoergSprave If FPSRussia is a YT partner then surely you can be too. "Not family friendly enough"? Your videos are 10x more informative and productive in nature than FPSRussia's.

  • @JoergSprave LOL the guy in the FPS russia thing where he shoots with flamethrowers n stuff got partnership i believe o.0

  • @JoergSprave but isn't fpsrussia a youtube partner? That's just silly.

  • @JoergSprave that's a bunch of horseshit :(

  • @JoergSprave Let me guess its Youtube Germany that is declining and not Youtube in the U.S.

  • @JoergSprave Then how is FPSRussia family friendly? Or even EpicMealTime, for godsake it's a bunch of drunken guys making food, then dousing it in alcohol, totally family friendly.

  • @JoergSprave means that your showing weapons that could easly kill other beings lool

  • you can play russian roulette with this :D

  • Do you patent all of your designs?

  • @NUTTYRIDER1 No. In fact I do encourage people to use my designs.

  • @JoergSprave And that makes you a rare breed indeed.

    Like and subed!

  • Fully loaded.

    And ready for ahction.

  • what bands are you using there? i am currently using a crosman blue tampered band, how do they compare?

  • very deadly

    much as a normal handgun

  • @harmonycold For centering, and also for a better grip.

  • Thats amazing, simply ingenious!! You should found a company, building these briliant slingshots! I would buy every single one in your programme =)

  • Booaa...the title of this video gives me chill

  • This is fucking amazing!

  • how about modifying the revolver slingshot to have all 6 bands be used to shoot just one really big bullet? Could be extremely powerful ;)

  • será q dói tomar uns tiros desse na barriga? huahuauha

  • Nice i want 1 like that

  • Very nice, I like the idea very much....

I have a question, why don't you put some kind of 'squeeze trigger' in the grip to rotate the wheel? So 1 squeeze equals 1/6 rotation, and you're ready to shoot the next round. Just like the revolver gun does.

So it's like: shoot, squeeze trigger, wheel rotate, and shoot again

That way, (i think), your firing hand wouldn't have to move so much, you can cut the firing time

  • wow..it's a lady filming (3:29 - reflection). Amazing she has the patience to film all this guy stuff :D

  • How well does this weapon work against human flesh? Hehehe.

  • Dude you said that you were going to show it in detail? "now I will show you the weapon in detail...." (O_o) OMG SO AMAZING

  • Germans are genius.

  • dude your a beasty german

  • no fucking wonder link had a slingshot.

  • You should make a video of you doing the shots as fast as possible !

  • looks like a powerlifter

  • Oh man I'd hate to get one of those in my head

  • i have a question: did you go to college? if you did, did you major in mechanical engineering?

  • @xcode394 I have a master in business administration, in line with my job. Picked up my mechanical skills without education, "on the job".

  • Could the ammunition hit the back of their standoffs as you fire it? I'd be afraid that the ammo would ricochet off and harm you. No?

  • have you ever incorperated magnets into a slingshot design?

  • @DistantShrimp

yes he did, just saw it in another vid of him

  • You are insane, and I love it. Awesome design! Just so badass.

I wonder, if you might widen the loading tubes to fit the bullets. Then you could spring load each of the six tubes with a spring-retention slot cut into the end of the tube. You would have six tube magazines that could release a bullet each time you needed to reload. It would merely take a pinch of the fingers to do so.

  • ever think of sending the design to TOP SHOT...

  • where can i buy one?

  • I have a suggestion for that slingshot. You can buy some neodemiyum magnets online and put them in the holes to hold the lead/steel balls. There are many different sizes, but I am sure that there are some that would fit in there. Use JB weld on the corners when you put the magnet in, or other epoxy/glue/weld to prevent the ball from pulling the magnet out of the tube. Also, I have Thera-Flex (I think it is) and they are red, which in my case is "Moderately fit". the tubing is real thick.

  • keep up the good work you have some really good ideas

  • The wheel seems to rotate with very little effort. Did that present any problems when first firing from it?

  • @MoosyDiety No. When you pull out, friction kicks in and locks the wheel in place.

  • @MoosyDiety The power of ball bearings. (Lubricated balls rubbing up against metal to reduce friction, allowing two pieces of metal to spin.) ;)

  • this looked absolutelty idiotic when i first clicked.... but after watching most of the vid i see that there was alot of thought put into this and its kinda smart if u think about it.... gj

  • @Dubtarded If this looked absoloutely idiotic when you first clicked........ then why'd you click to see an "idiotic" video? Perhaps you were..... Oh, I don't know..... Trolling?

    :)

  • @WoofusDoofusKid well no actually, i was looking up a .60 cal revolver that was mentioned on a .50 cal magnum video, and when i typed it in, there was only 2 vids that looked potentially good... this, and one with a guy getting hit in the face when firing a .50 cal..... not trolling... just comment.. nice that you took the time to reply tho.

  • @WoofusDoofusKid well no actually, i was looking up a .60 cal revolver that was mentioned on a .50 cal magnum video, and when i typed it in, there was only 2 vids that looked potentially good... this, and one with a guy getting hit in the face when firing a .50 cal. like most videos, you dont know what it is until you watched it.. hell, it could have been a rick roll.. so no..... not trolling... just comment.. nice that you took the time to reply tho.

  • A suggestion for reloading: To increase firing speed (not velocity); Instead of loading the slingshot straight, like you do in the video, instead use each rubber to secure the shot one bar to the RIGHT of the shot. This would spiral the tubing around the slingshot, and each time you pulled the band, the next slot would be lined up for you to pull again from the top. Instead of reaching across your wrist each shot, you could immediately pull again from the top; the tension would pull it straight.

  • @Alyxandeyr I do not know if this is a functional plan, but in theory, it automatically rotates the 'chamber' of the revolver, instead of manually turning it each time; it uses the same method as you already use, using the band to turn the chamber, it just could potentially streamline the process.

  • while your flinging rapid fire rocks at me...ill be pulling out my pistol....no gatling needed here!

  • Eine Gatling Slingshot. Ich verreck'. xD

Sagenhaft. Zieh' mir gerade dein 6. Video rein. Wobei der Zombie-Terminator natürlich unerreicht bleibt. : )

    Keep up the great work.

  • Just wanted to make a suggestion: you should add magnets to the tube, to hold the balls in place while loading. That would probably make it possible to load the weapon without setting it down first.

  • @joergSprave have you considered magnetising the end of the poles? could help with reload time

  • Got but a rifle already

  • great design ! Maybe i ll try to make something similar adding a trigger operated lock to hold each sling in position while shooting. By the way, congrats for your english!

  • Thank you Joerg Sprave. I have increased the band tension like you said. I did this by putting paper cones into the tubes so that the balls sit on top like ice cream. The increased height pulls the bands stronger so now when I fire a round they all stay in place. It worked like magic!

  • JoergSprave, I have a question. I saw this video and made a similar slingshot out of something similar to multiplex wood. I sawed a disc out of this wood, sawed 6 windshield shaped holes, and installed magnets to lock each segment into position when I spin the disc. The funny thing is that everytime I fire this slingshot, the marbles fall off of the paper tubes that I made to hold them. How would you solve this problem? Your slingshot is able to hold the ammo in despite the shock of release.

  • @Gratlaguy The rubber has to have enough tension to press the ball into the tube. maybe you need to shorten your bands a bit. Also, don't forget to punch a hole in the middle of the pouch.

  • @JoergSprave you should release that to the market

  • Pure genius, I enjoy your inventions and I love slingshots, I've been hunting with a Black Widow for years and I would'nt swap it for anything!

  • you are the slingshot king!

how many times did you got a rubber band in your face,

    using the slingshots ?

    greetings from holland
