Big oil isn't stopping these - its the price tag on them. All someone would have to do is ship some in a huge shipping crate from China, and setup little outlets through already established stores near campuses, and they'd sell like hotcakes. If the price was super cheap. But the price is not super cheap on these electric bikes. In some cases, its way inflated. For really, something that is just a get me around the local city / neighborhood toy, and do it quietly and cheaply.

I live in the U.S. I can't wait for the 190L! I've already built a solar charging station for it! There is a distributor in Texas that has one on hold for me. We are truely seeing a revolution right before our eyes!

I spoke with emax distributor in uk and I been told that Lithium versions is not available cause it's way too expensive.. I want to buy 190L myself but even other 110L is not for sale.. only acid batteries thats a bit sucks

In my opinion there's too much of the flashy music and graphics - sure its a well made vid and I've nothing against flashy music and graphics, but I'm just looking for a vid that ACTUALLY shows the performance of the vehicle, the sound of the vehicle in motion and maybe a demonstrator using it and describing its riding characteristics? Like many new products, there doest seem to be a demo vid anywhere - even when it would be so easily made.

@SunsetSupermanRMB There is a company called E-Cycles USA that is bringing in 5kW bikes that are DOT approved and need a license to ride. I believe they are still in the process of setting up dealerships across the US. You'll probably be able to buy one if you go to their site

@SunsetSupermanRMB nonsense i ve lived in china my wife is chinese , with international trade as a job , trust me you can get anything to the usa -who needs dealers anyway, i get direct from manufacture, no wholesale needed in china, just cash, nearly anyone can walk right into a factory, and there are 1000s of them that make scooters shipping ? not a problem there is no regulations to stop a private sale , just taxes to be paid
