She's great, there's no denying that. But Kelly Clarkson owns. There's something that's different about her that you can't find in any other artist. I don't know what it is, but her music is so addicting whether you want to admit it or not. I prefer Kelly's version becuase it's a classic! This is a great cover, but it doesn't compare to Kelly's. She sings with emotion & from her heart. Leona has an obvious talent, & she will go far, but Kelly has made history, & her talent is unbeatable.

I have Kelly Clarkson's CD and I thought she did a great job on that song. However, Leona brings it to a new level. Leona's voice is smoother and more soulful and she goes boldly into that falsetto, which she really does very well. I just wished she didn't have to cover this song as the comparison will be inevitable and will infuriate Kelly's fans. I really think she sings live much better than Mariah. Come April, MC and LL will both release their CDs, and I think I will buy Leona's instead
