I did this and it worked like a charm, only problem is my game glitches when I try to leave to go back to the wasteland. Not sure if this is just a random glitch but I have tried loading different saves and nothing works. As soon as I click leave forever, it loads then turns black and freezes, every time. If anyone knows or has had this happen, please respond.

it worked, i didn't use assassin armor, although i had 100 sneak and one stealthboy, i dropped the bars near door for quicker start, went through conversation to get him down, instantly run to door, took gold and used stealthboy, exited, walked to first railing and crouched, went forward, then when i was past the doorway in right i stand up and made it through before the laser barrier activated (failed first time due i crouched all way, there is limited time)

I have no idea if it was because I wore the assassin armor this timeor what but iv been trying this for over an hour and everytime i got tothe door the barrier would shoot up in front of me and stop me before i could make it. People with a PS3. Just to be clear this way works. do exactly as he does and you'll get through it.

@sonhighguy You dont have to use stealth boy. The point is simple. Just sneak when player in the video walks, and walk asap when the player in the movie sneaks. Since the time is short, it is recommended that you bring all the gold bar at the vault door, conversate with elijah, run to the door and pick up the gold bar. Might take some time and trials, but it is possible.

@DreamcarameI i got impatient and whent the long way around...i'm not a greedy man, took 9 bars and hauled ass. i'm already rich and besides...nowhere to sell em...so i gave one to each of my companions, and kept the rest in the "tickle trunk"

Don't give a fuck, i've tried this with the assassin suit this guy sees you through fucking walls, 100 sneak with a sneak book and assassin suit, the quickest i can possibly be. And he still fucking gets me it is literally fucking bullshit.

You do not need a stealth boy. I did it with the assassins suit and it worked just fine.

Whoever says it does not work still is a fucking idiot, you can't patch this method, all you do is take all the gold and walk, then turn a corner and crouch walk, then stand back up after another part. WOW, TRULY HARD. -.-

@meneerikownje I just did this about an hour after I left my last comment on here and it worked fine, I was playing on PS3. Just do exactly like he says and it should work fine for everyone. Pain in the ass afterwards though, took me 7 trips to carry all the gold out of the bunker.

Holy crap, it works, I'm on PC too!!!

I've never give a flying fu** about the gold bars before, but I'm playing a fun build that has 2 INT and 3 LCK, so I don't have too manny skill points to raise my repair to 90, can't win at the casinos, can't earn the Sierra Madre slugs perk from Cristine and can't win the voucher from the casino.

This means I have to pay almost for everything, I'm at level 22 with only 5.000 caps.

With the gold bars I can buy everything now, thanks a lot. :D

Thank you for posting this I just did this on xbox with all patches installed. I had to walk just a little further though before sneaking, still got it 2nd try. Im glad I had a stealth boy!

I can't find any stealth boy at all. Where did you find yours? Come on - 1 to 6 stealth boys sounds a lot.

@Knelson12345 Inside the vault there should be 1-6 stealth boys. Not completely sure but with the medical kit inside the vault. The number of stealth boys is random according to wikia.
