she did have a donna summer like voice, sort of a junior donna, this is by far her best vocal on any song shes done...if i never would have heard this song i wouldnt have thought she had a good voice, her voice on other songs is sort of average...ive heard her recently sing, and shes lost some of her vocal quality

I have to agree, she has a Donna Summer quality to her voice when she opens up...very strong. I find the "special effects" distracting in this video. A simple, intimate piano piece like this did not need any dressing up with the cheesey effects of the time. It's Unfortunate she got jipped by the music industry, she's a true triple threat:-)
