If your birds like it that much then you can use it as a treat but it's actually healthy enough that you can just serve it to them....that way they would get more veggies, grains, etc and not just when you want to give them a treat. Let me know if this makes sense. :)
Ah, thanks for uploading this. I was wondering what I could give to my birds. I actually did give them chopped up carrots a few times but they just shoved it out of their food dish I guess they are just picky.

That is good to do, but my birds really use their cuttlebone a lot so I usually don't do it. :)

Most budgies will do that at first....you just have to keep offering them veggies and see which ones they like and don't like.:)
