It seems very sad to me that people actually look at these different factors in order to rank out who the best characters are in this kind of game. You're free to, and you can call yourself one of the pros at the game, but the typical gamer really won't give a damn as long as they have fun with it.

This was very in-depth. Well done. :D I don't think Diddy Kong's DACUS was mentioned, however. Also, Diddy's Monkey Flip can be used as a good recovery move, but if you use the attack over the grab, then you can't use the Rocketbarrel Boost afterwards.

@BlackFireKhaos5173 I've been playing this game forever but still watch any guide I can because there's little things I've never known in some guides. In this one, I just found out about Diddy's peanut gun being cancelled in the air can be done without airdodging. I didn't realize that before.

It's the little things that make it better.

Many of these attacks seem easily avoidable with a good indirect attack to keep him at bey; also, if you can manage to keep the pressure on Diddy. he becomes much easier to fight (as long as your good at dodging) considering that all his A attacks are predictable and he has no good B attacks for pushing your opponent away at close distances.

The same could be said about snake with his grenades, motor and C4, yet Snake was still ranked the 2nd best character for all of these traits.Diddy's main strength comes from his bannana, as he is able to control the battlefield with them by abusing the trip mechanics from banananas. Diddy also has what I would say the best dash attack in the game due to low lag when using this move.

@SKmuffin I suppose it's just the way of how/when you use your moves and how you play. it's always easy to pick up Diddy's bananas and use them for yourself.

P.S. I would say Kirby has the best dash attack in the game for it has a great combo ability and it has an extra half second of attack that is very off-tempo to trick the opponent, also it is hard to dodge.

@BurningNight314 Kirby's dash attack is extremely punishable 0_o As for picking up diddy's banana's, yes it is but Diddy's dash attack allows him to pick it up easier than other characters. Not only that, diddy tends to give a lot of pressure before you're able to really retaliate back with the bananas. Diddy IS ranked the 2nd best character in the game up to date for a reason after all.

@SKmuffin Kirby's dash attack has never really failed me, you just have to know how to use it.

as I side note, my opinion of the tier list is that every character may not be equal, but its about finding the character that suits you and overcoming their weaknesses

@BurningNight314 LOL NO, kirby has one of the worst, because of how punishable and how long it takes to end when u miss, its so easy to dodge. and no u cant combo any attack after kirbys dash attack, not off tempo and cant even trick the opponet

I'm great with Diddy. I never use the bananas lol I tend to make more use of his agility than anything. Might come from the fact that my original and still favorite is Pikachu. Too bad I don't really play anymore and whenever I want to, my friends don't want to.
