I'm looking at the pricing game lineups for April 1998, and this matches April 7 (#0722K) aka #4,998...which it isn't, due to the show's episode counter being 132 off at this point -- it's actually #5,130.

The 5,000th episode was aired before I turned 1 year old. When the named Studio 33 as The Bob Barker Studio, was the day I turned 1(April 10, 1998)

I think that on the other video clip of this episode, newsman Luke Moretti (who works in Buffalo now) stated that today, in "episode 4,998 . . ."

This episode is actually #4,998. The 5,000th episode was on April 9--two days later.

Hi. It is 4,999. #5000 was taped in the afternoon. 4,999 was the morning taping.
