  • @GrockJake

    oh don't we all?

  • I'd rather she just be my Corin Tucker

  • YEAH! YEAH-OH! YEAH! YEAH-OH!

I WANNA BE YOUR JOEY RAMONE!!!

  • i love the Ramones, i love this song, and i love the book entitled I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone. JEZUS!!!

  • @iwannaburjoeyramone Yesssss I just met Stephanie Kuehnert yesterday.

  • @iwannaburjoeyramone Yesssss! I just met Stephanie Kuehnert yesterday.

  • Joey Ramone. (1951-2001) RIP

  • approach, that is.

  • Hahaha I love this Song !!! xD

  • I want a joey ramone

  • Duuudeee wtf that book was so great. I'm pretty sure everybody plays on stereotypes. She did it in a way that was acceptable. It's a book about being outragiously differant and aleinated in a town that hates you and your famiy.

  • what-evves about books (AND, just for the record JFTR I love to read)

    Sl-K is a g-damn eff-ing rock band

and one of the GREATest rock bands live (IMHO)

    SO... stop intellectualising this sh!t

  • @number7gracestreet - Since when is an intellectual apporach to something wrong? How else can one understand something except by using intellect?

  • @Timmybear

Not saying "an intellectual apporach (sic) is wrong" --intellect is a very Good way of understanding something, you are quite right. Not the only way, mind. 'Intellectualism' is also very fun, just like wanking:) But, it's really not something we need to do everywhere, izzit?

You know what's wrong? Sleep is Wrong! --Utube it, i dunno how to make links here:/

  • @number7gracestreet - It is something I need to do everywhere, but I appreciate it may not be for everyone (I can't understand it, but I appreciate that they say it's not). And I did correct my typo. :)

  • this albumn blew my mind. nothing by them matched this.

  • Can you tell me :What book is it?I don`t know something about a book

  • @Pedda67 it's by Stephanie Kuehnert with the same title. it's awesome you should check it out.

  • @guitarhero9990 Thank you very much.I will try to get it

  • the book rocks, stfu. xD

made me discover loads of new bands.

  • Let me say this...I saw the book title and thought it sounded like a song, so I googled it. This song came up, and it's AMAZING. I haven't finished the book, but it DID inspire me to find this song, so it's already better because of that. <3

  • I WANNA BE YOUR THURSTON MOORE!

  • @Joystar234 Yep !

  • Damn that book is so fuckin awesome i just finished it n i luv it!1 1 of the best books ever!!

  • I just finished it too and I loved it!

  • for those of you who have commented in the last few months....this song existed long before the book with the same title. I can't speak to the book, because I haven't read it, but this song is an amazing moment in punk/pop/rock music. Sleater-Kinney is one of the best bands of the past 20 years, of any genre...and this particular song is an amazing moment off their 2nd record.

  • Only if you have never read a REAL book, and therefore have nothing to compare it to.

  • im currently reading the book. The author is obviously a poseur! C'mon its published motherfucking MTV!

  • hell no how could it b that so wat if that is MTV...the book rocks!

  • Awesome song, awful book. WOOT!!

  • one of my favorites! love the lyrics....

  • i love this song also

  • pretty damn awesome book=p

  • That book is horrid. It plays on stereotypes and is a pathetic excuse for an edgy book on female rockers.

I posted a poor review of 'I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone' on my old blog and the author found it and commented on how "hurtful" comments were...then she deleted her comment the next day.

    Creepy and pathetic.

  • @starryeyedkid21 I'm reading the book right now, I have the opposite view, I think it's cool and relate-able in small ways to everybody, & it's interesting and I take the brief uses of stereotypes to be irony of how Emily AND Louisa didn't want to be stereotypes, but everyone is entitled to their opinion =)

  • yeah its awsum isn't it? prbbly one of the best books i've read in a while

  • i love this song and the book I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone by Stephanie Kuehnert. READ IT PPL!!!!!!

  • I'm reading it currently! Pretty good book.

  • love this song
